Hana is the Japanese word for flower. (All the characters mini bubble characters match either their zodiac (Kyou-Cat, Yuki-Rat etc), or their names (Hana means Flower, Uo is Fish.) Tohru is the only acception to that rule with her Onigiri )

Her grandpas house was geting remodeld or renevaded or somthing......(she was living with him because her mom deid)......so she needed somplace to stay because her grandpa was going to stay at his relitives.....Tohru didnt want to cause so much trouble for her two best friends.....She came up with the cunclusion to stay in a tent and not tell anyone so it wouldn't cause trouble..... i think........... te hee

its to do with the zodiac story and the fact that the cat was tricked by the rat so didn't go to the banquet. he also hates him because he can never beat him and in order for kyo not to go into confinment he has to beat yuki. they're both jealous of each other really though...i think :S

question: what's ritsu's mothers name?

For the Kyo and Yuki. It's mostly that their both jealous of one another and want to be each other. And it was only natural for the cat to blame the rat because of the story. Kyo puts more and more blame on Yuki the more bad things happen to him and it reached it's hight when Tohru's mom died. So Akito saying he had to beat Yuki gave Kyo more of an excuse to hate and fight Yuki.

Uh... I'm trying to do this without cheating. The mangas on my bookshelf are becoming tempting. Did she have a name? They just called her Okami right, which isn't a name, it's what you call an onsen maid, I think...
