|  Tragety?!?!?!?! I've been a reader of Full Metal Alchemist for years, so why is it NOW almost at the END that I see tragety as one as the tags?!?!  Can someone PLEASE tell me why in God's name that is?? **the reason it's tragety that is**  |

|  If you had no mother, no body, or half you limbs gone, with so many people out to kill you and such, I'd think it'd be tragic. Not to mention so many people you knew or cared about dying left and right.

|  thank god!! Oh my goodness, thank gawd!!  well, not really happy about their mommy and our lovable Hughes being *gone*, but! I just thought at the end of the manga something bad was going to happen.  but thank you so much for clearing that out for me!  |

| I don't think it will end in tradegy because even though there's been a lot of death it has helped to move the story along, also I think there would be no real reason to kill off ed and al.What good would it do except piss of the fans who have grown attach to them and want to see their happy ending!!!

 | I heard Vic say once (the voice of Ed) this anime is about STRUGGLE. And struggle is what causes tragedy. That's why its so popular. The fans really want to see Ed and Al get their bodies back. They continue reading to see the outcome and the anime (made it in the top 5 i think) is already done with and the anime half are satisfied. 1 of the reasons why i watched the anime and decided to read the manga when the anime ended was because i just wanted to see Ed and Al get their bodies back. I liked seeing them and reading their philosophies about the world, because you can almost compare it to our world in a sense. I mean, as Vic said, Fuhrer *cough cough*, wanting to wipe out a whole country in terms of religion? *cough*, the seven sins? There are so many things that fullmetal alchemist reminds me of every day life its not funny. Sure your not going to be torn apart from your limbs and get stuck in a metal body, but hmmn... that could mean something too.
