| Al's armor is big bulky and in the way, couldn't Ed change the armor somewhat smaller but thicker etc? Or make some protective metal over the bloodmark so it couldn't be hit ? Or make Al into a necklace for easier transport? And since he has such a height complex he could make al shorter. Or maybe make the armor so it fits Ed perfectly. Am i the only one that thought of this? |

| Nope. I, and others, I'm sure have thought of those possibilities too. But a necklace? They're trying to get him human again; a necklace isn't one of the closest things one can think of. I do agree about the height and width of the armor thing though. But where does the excess metal go? Don't forget this series' famous phrase, "Equivalent exchange." :] Although he could take an arm off to get rid of some metal beforehand. :P

Or Al knows Ed's, er...tastelessly gothic sensibilities, and doesn't want to look like a gargoyle. Or, you know, it could be 'being really big is just about the only benefit of being a suit of armor, so why mess with it?' But covering the blood seal would be a really good idea. |

| I agree with covering the blood seal, but if Ed actually wore Al as jewelry or armor, it would make them seem like one person, and not two brothers who are two separate people. They're always two different characters. I probably don't make sense, but the fact that Al can act like a human on his own must make Ed feel less guilty about the failed transmutation. Also, t |

| im guessing he doesnt change it for sentimrntal reasons rather than practicality, but it could jsut be that al fears eds bad taste X3
