So far I say MANGA! It makes a hell of a lot more sense.Though I absolutely adored the series. Everyone is so damn funny all the time,even the bad guys. And Greed rules.

they are both great, but the anime is to hasty and is not clsoe enough to the manga.
but on the other side, the anime plot line and then i think in the start when u follow them as youg is much easier to understand, coz in the manga they constanly have small flash backs with to much time (pages/chaps/spaces whatever u want to call it im not shure) in between.
and THAT is making me comfused.
hey, i mean, im aint only reading this manga, im reading others at the same time to so sometimes its hard to keep trak with the manga. u know what i mean?

i think i like the anime better but then again i really like the manga and we don't know how it ends, so it could be all and end perfectly!
i think its a matter of taste in some ways. The anime has a differn't feel and meaning than the manga does. I think so far the anime had a better plot because the homunculi Sloth was there mother and in the end Ed had to kill her. That's a lot more painful than anything thats happened in the manga so far i think.
but like i said the manga could end even better.
also there are parts of the manga that are better done than in the anime and visa-versa. Like Winry is done better in the manga and by that I mean as a character not as a love interest for Ed! And the war in Ishbal is done better in the manga i think.
Both Selims roles in the manga and anime are great though there's more interesting stuff going on there in the manga now (he was so cute but so evil, what a creepy combination!)
the animation was amazing and now i'm starting to think Akawara's artwork is getting better. So there are things to love everywhere about both and they were both written by her so its all good!

Storyline wise, i really like the manga better. But, when people ask me if they should read the manga or watch the anime, i tell them to watch the anime first, becaue it gives you a better look into some of the minor characters' minds and lets you see them from a different light. Then, after that, read all of the manga because it is so amazingly awesome (and you can actually watch the characters mature (physically) as the story continues) and the story line is way more interesting.
But i love ed and envy!!!! the two of them are the best characters in the story (except when envy turns into that wormy-guy that is not cool, or sexy at all!

Truest statement ever! But I still choose the manga. You know what, I take that back. I’ll wait until they finish it before I say. Just incase they do something incredibly stupid at the end. But so far it’s lookin like a win for the manga.
