| Path Of Raidience | The Anime is good realy good but the plot for the manga is better. But I think there were parts in the Anime that where better than the manga. For example the beggining in Lior and Lad 5. I was realy disapionted with Scar in the manga, In the anime he was clever, knew what was going on and had a much cooler image in the manga he's a rampaging animal with very little purpose to the plot. But the other characters where better (except Greed he died too early) I think the Anime was better but beacause the final conclusion, the motive and the homunculi concept was Ssssooooooooo simple I think that ruined it. Because that was the final conclusion the story couldn't develop so much. In the manga the concept of homunculi, and their plans where so big and more complex the story could involve more aspects, like in the manga everyone is involved because of the giant circle, all the previos wars and how evryone is in danger, in the anime it only concerned the Elric brothers, sure there was the war in Ishbal but that was over and done with no one was realy needed when the final plot was revaeled. But Other than that there where some important small points in the manga that should have been mentioned in the anime.

I have watched about 20 episodes of the anime and I've heard, that (SPOILER?) edward died in the end of the anime How can they be making more of the manga when the anime is over? should i finish watching the anime? should i just read it? ALSO!! if I wanted to finish the anime and then read the manga where would I start reading where the anime left off, or should I just read it all?

| well... it's not quite what you think they meant by that ![]() and they're making more of the manga because the original was the manga... the anime just went and... *makes toilet flushing sound* XD You should read all of the manga ^-^ it's really good, and the anime does go astray from it... (like most do -__-") If I were you I'd read the manga... then watch the anime, that way you can enjoy it the way it was meant to be first, and not have the crazy anime stuff make you say "this isn't right" ^--^

| The manga is better, hands down. If you watch the anime first you'll find it amazing, but the story is a dummied down version of how epic the manga is. I do think the anime had some better points, though; Everything with Maes Hughes i'd say was better, because they fleshed him out a lot more, and gave his whole story a lot more emotion. Although if you start reading the manga first, you won't like the anime much ![]() |
