| Don't plan on watching the anime. I'm trying to convince my mom not to watch it 'cause it's different but she won't listen! I was planning on seeing the movie but since you guys said it doesn't end well... I guess this means I have more time to read One Piece. EdxWinry is like my favorite manga couple. Ever. |

| lols X3 thats like me.... unless its ecchi.... then i always watch the series. Although with full metal, even though the movie was kinda sad kurisuta has a point, i mean the story was about ed and al, and in that perspective, even though it was OMGWTF?! off course from the manga, it achieved its goal.

| I'm not saying ed and winry won't get together. I'm all for it  They've already both admitted they love each other to themselves and the topic has been brought up several times since then. So it would be weird if something didn't happen. I'm just thinking it won't be a big mushy deal b/c the manga, as we've established, isn't romance, romance, romance. To bring up a new argument you can't say it isn't Shojo either. Because Shojo most commonly defined is manga aimed at young girls. Wellll FMA isn't aimed at young girls for sure but Shojo is called that because what its actually about ussually appeals to young girls more than boys who want action and fighting. Seeing as Shojo means a story about *people* and how they interact with each other and what they *feel* — about each other, themselves, the word they live in, then Fullmetal Alchemist is both Shojo and Shonen. Though good stories aren't meant to be defined either way  |
