| this forum is about theories and ideas that one might think may happen in up coming chapters and please provide some proof (unless there is a hunch) for instance will the army successfully make the ultimate soldiers w/o it backfiring? how will ed, al, and company save the country when the circle so close to completion? will ed and winry ever confess to each other? (for way later chapters) there are so many things happening that i'm surprised that this forum has yet to be made. |

| I think Ed will end up using the homonculous (sp?) to retrieve Al's body when the big showdown occurs. I also think that the father will likely end up dying or seriously injured in the last fight, maybe trying to save his sons? I just really hope the Flame Alchemist and First Lt. manage to hook up. |

| Contributor | hmmm..i think that hohenheim would eventually die..due to his saving either al or ed from the homunculi..that's what i think anyway..hopefully ed and winry would wind up in a romance also with the flame alchemist and the Lt.

| Man Behind the Curtain | Hmm...Arakawa has leaned toward giving Ed to Winry, I think, but unless she gets a knock on the head and loses her quite respectable wits, it won't be too big a deal. Hohenheim has an excellently high chance of dying, probably nobly, very likely using up the souls of Xerxes to foil evil plot. (Because he can't die until they're used up.) v.v; I think she has too much respect for Riza to make her an item with Mustang. Anyway, both of them are so duty-oriented they'll have to have made Amestris the best country in the world before they'd settle down to something like romance. They're going to find out about the inner workings of Amestrian alchemy. That's a must. I expect Hohenheim founded Xingese rentanjutsu, and it probably does run on geomancy; but based on something Mei said I suspect 'Father' did something weird in Amestris, and it's not tectonics they're tapping. Possibly a soul-net; either way it's under his direct control, and may be evil. Unless Ed and Al learn a new style of alchemy, they're not going to be good for anything. Father and Hohenheim get their power from within their bodies, so they're special, but the boys (and Mustang, potentially) are going to have to change something or avoid Father's influence. What I want to know is, will Envy make a comeback, or will his family squash him like the disgusting bug he's now revealed to be? He was never all that bright. |

| @TrisakAminawn; Firstly, how long did it take you to typ up that incredibly long post?! =_=; ........ Any hoo most of these questions have been answered in the anime and/or the movie, urg!!!!!!!! Ed ended up leaving amestris, AND Winrey while he was at it.... Stupid ed XD!!!!!! Any hoo (again I know) I only watched the first few episodes a couple episodes from the middle, the last few and a couple hundred edwin AMVs LOL, but there is one scene in the anime I've only seen in amvs, the one where ed and al are on the train and ed has a letter that he refuses to let al see so al thinks its a love note or something... Sorry my edwin obsession is kicking in =s |

| @oOoChibixKittyoOo the OVA's and the FMA movie do not have anything to do with the manga so far. also from the anime, the letter you are talking about is from the Edward wannbe brothers. the letter makes fun of ed's height and age. |

| Hmm good point above about Hohenheim having all those souls inside himself, that COULD be a twist on some things. I'm not too optimistic about the survival rate of characters lol. I'm almost certain Hohenheim is a goner. He wants to die and he does have a bone to pick with "father". It could be very possible that at the "day" Hohenheim takes the place of millions of people in the marked off area. I hadn't considered it until I read TrisakAminawn's post and I feel a little silly for overlooking something like that. With that said though, the "Father" could be in the same position or could be used as a stone as well....debatable of course seeing how its never been said that he's a stone like Hohenheim. Originally I thought that Hohenheim and the "Father" would take each other out and Ed would sacrifice himself, or Hohenheim would(if Hohenheim won)), to bring back Al's body. While I'm now keeping that in mind, I'm also thinking about throwing that out the window in light of Hohenheim's biology. I must think more about this.....but don't worry, I won't hurt anything ![]() P.S. As for Ed and Winry, never going to happen. Yes she's got her own little subplot, to be honest, she's not really that important. Not when we're in a mode of stop it now or we all die time. If they all live, then I could see something, seeing as Al is still younger thinking in that area than Ed is. Ed cares for her A LOT, but she takes second to the brotherly bond.
