| This thread is pretty self explanatory.... I know that in the anime Al gets his body back, but since the manga is REAALLY DIFFERENT i want to know if you think they will. If you do think so how will they get them back? |

| Man Behind the Curtain | The way Arakawa writes...Al will get back that poor, skinny thing waiting by the gate. Ed might not get rid of the automail, but probably. They also probably will not die as a direct consequence of the plot, although with the maltreatment they've put themselves through they will almost certainly die young. Of course, the plot could develop to require their deaths, but it certainly doesn't contain those elements just now. And probably won't. Arakawa definitely rates 'failing to save and thus losing someone' as a much worse thing to suffer than merely 'dying,' so why would she bother to kill off her heroes? |

| I refuse to believ Arakawa-sama would do such a thing. If they didn't get their bodies back, then what's the point of all this?! And if she killed them... man, I'd NEVER get over that! But she wouldn't do that... would she?

| Al, almost definitely. Ed? Well, that's iffy. Mostly, though, because he can live okay with the automail, and what would Winry do if he got it replaced with flesh and bone? But the plot, if you recall, is to use both Ed and Al as "a precious human sacrifice." You don't generally survive being sacrificed, as a comment. If Father's plan goes through, the entire country is going to be sacrificed, though, so I'm not *too* worried. I think the apocolypse will be avoided . |

| I think al will........... but dunno with ed........... I just have a feeling that only al will get his body back. But I wonder, after they got their bodies back, can they still use alchemy without transmutation circle? Will the memory of the truth remains if the "payment" is returned to them? |

| i have found that they make the main character die just so they can show people how much everybody loves them. so... al will get his body back, then ed will sacrifice himself or something to save the country. The End. i kno it sucks. deal w/ it. |
