Hmm...actually hayate is a Dangerous Ability type. His alice is air control .He is a third year student in the Middle School Division and he's in the same class with Tsubasa. He also has an extremely huge crush on Hotaru.

Hayate thinks Hotaru looks a lot like a game character he really used to love as a child named "Cool Blue Sky". He appear in chapter 59..

Yes, you're right. ^^ He was ordered by Persona to fight the 'brats', so he did. However, he got beaten by Hotaru, very badly.
