As most of you know, the Chapter 99 posted on this site a little while ago was plagiarized. It has been removed and the user who posted it banned, the extent of the action Manga Fox is able to take.

That is the end of the issue.

There have been discussions ranging all over the place, mostly scanlators and concerned members expressing their anger and frustration over the event. I understand all-too-well how you feel, as I work with two scanlation studios and know the great amount of hard work that goes into producing releases. As an avid reader also, I share the sentiments of that group.

However, we at Manga Fox host scanlations of manga, discussion of the manga, and discussion in a few other areas, nothing more.

We really can't do more than that. We are not here to host discussion of the wrongness of scanlation theft, production, and distribution on the public forums. If you wish to do that, you may do so in private messages to one another.

Scanlators: If there is a problem with one of the manga we have posted here, deal with us directly and we will do what is necessary, if we haven't already, like I did just now.

I have closed the other threads related to this matter so that the discussion will not continue.

If you have questions, concerns or problems, please PM me and we will discuss it. The other moderators know about this situation as well if you do not want to talk to me about it. I am the most intimate with the situation, having dealt directly with the problem and serving as one of your moderators in the Gakuen Alice forum.

New Rule # 1 for the GA Thread:

Alright.

As Seelie has said, we are not responsible for problems with scanlators. You have a problem then you take the issue to that person and keep it out of the forums.

Keep the discussions of your scanlations to yourselves and with the people you work with on your site, not here. Feel free to say whatever you want about somebody on your own site or on your own forums but don't bring it here.

As for problems with stealing raws or scanlations, SIMPLY PM A MOD ABOUT THE ISSUE WITH PROOF ABOUT THE STOLEN PAGES AND THEN SHUT UP ABOUT IT!

I don't want to see you guys running all around in a frenzy getting ugly with one another here on these forums. We will take action as we see fit, that includes if we feel that we must ban the member, delete pages and or etc.

Anyone found ignoring this rule will be banned immediately.



As for the GA discussion area, I am seriously tired of you guys causing problems, this is the only area that I have seen so far to have such problems. If I find that we have continuing problems with Scanlators, Members, Translators, Trolling, and or Insulting Any One I will have the not only the discussion area closed but the manga removed as well.
