I'm not saying someone is dieing or not- I'm just saying that if someone does die and if [people are saying it might be] Natsume is the one to... I think it could really happen. I know that it would basically ruin the story and stuff but think about this:

1. Isn't Natsume just like to Mikan as Mikan's dad was to Yuka? [confusing sentence.] He died, didn't he? Whose to say Natsume can't/won't? And Ruka is just like Narumi was back then... Well, that's what I think.
2. Natsume's health is pretty severe right now to.

Personally, i don't think he'll die because it would just be a repeat of what happened in the past. Logically, though, I think it could happen. [You know, if this was real life and not a story that is 99% bound to have a happy ending.]

What does everyone else think?

Ah... How refreshing to find someone who doesn't cry something like: "NO! NATSUME DON'T DIE!!!", or so...

Anyway, yes, you're kind of right about the second one, but I'm not really 100% sure with the first one. Though Yuka liked Mikan's father very much, currently, there's been no pointings to Mikan liking Natsume as much as her mother loved Mikan's dad. Also, the characters between Mikan's father and Natsume are kind of different.

But I think there's a big chance of Natsume going to die... o.O"

Hm, your right- Mikan's dad [Lets call him 'sensei' shall we?] is probably a lot different then Natsume. None of us are quite sure about Sensei's personality quite yet though... There hasn't been to much about him. We don't even know what his face looks like! Lol ^.^ I wasn't exactly referring to their personalities... more of their relationship; Though Mikan hasn't fully realized that she really likes Natsume a lot, it's kind of obvious, isn't it? She agreed to run away with him, lol!! xD And on Natsume's side, it's certain that he loves Mikan. He already admitted that. But, your more correct than I am; Their more different then similar in a lot of ways;

that will be boring if that happened, hope that it doesnt happen^^

I don't think that the mangaka of this story would allow such a tragedy to happen. Even though this story does have some dark points, i don't think that Higuchi Tachibana would do somehting that would cuase an uproar in her audience. Besides, This story doesn't seem like the type that would kill off little 10 year old kids, ya know? Perphaps an adult will die..maybe.

And if Natsume does die, i think that would cuase the story to be labelled as "tragedy" becuase it's repeating the past and that's just depressing! And through out the story, Mikan is always with Natsume, and Natsume is always with her, so who in their right mind would separate the two? And doesn't Mikan radiate the " i'm gonna have a happy-go-lucky life no matter what" aura?

But Natsume dying is a possibibilty (.00000001%), but i'm rooting for him to get better!

umm..... Personally, i think that there is a high possibility of Natsume dying because of his health though i think if he is to die lots of people will not be happy and satisfied..vivid NxM fans i mean (lyk me).... i really hope that in some way Natsume is able to stay by Mikan's side 4eva and get him cured of whatever is eating his lifespan...

...... is it me or do you guys get the feeling that Mikan will have to steal Natsume's alice in order for him to get better or somtehing along those lines......

OK, I understand with what you are saying. It is completely true. However, I find it very unlikely that Natsume will die. I don't know why. He is just a huge major character and it would ruin the story if Natsume did die. About your first opinion, that is not completely true as some people might try to avoid the mistakes that happened in the past. After all, Yuka probably regretted the stuff that happened and perhaps wondered what would have happened if something was changed (hopefully this is making sense). And with Yuka's or/ and Narumi's help, there might be a happy ending.

So overall, I will be a little suprised if Natsume died but I wouldn't be like "OMG! NATSUME DIED! NOOOOO! DON'T DIE!" I am pretty sure someone will die (Narumi or Mikan's Grandpa).

I don't think Natsume will die, probably tachibana-sensei will give us some kind of scary situation soon or later because his condition is critic. But I want to know too how they will help Natsume... Can Hotaru's brother cure him? Or maybe Mikan will "take out" a little of his alice.... But I really remember someone saying Natsume's mom alice wasn't fire, so maybe he has another alice... Maybe Mikan will give him her nullification, or something like that... hm.... to many possibilities XD!
