| i first discovered the manga at the library, the mangaka's drawings were still not so good (no offense!!!) but then, the library only had a few volumes and i REALLY, BADLY wanted to read the next few volumes so i searched online and found a site that had all of the the volumes up (I WAS SOOOOO HAPPY!!!) and started reading them from around volume 15 and read it straight to volume 36 for three whole days and going to sleep on those three days at like, 2/3 in the morning!!! i was THAT addicted...!!! after a few months after i read the manga, i found out there were drama and anime about it!!! so i searched up veoh and found hana yori dango japanese version and watched the whole thing in like... hmm... less than a week (it was during summer so i had a lot of time lol) and i watched everything... also i watched the ending a few times since i was SOOO happy!!! lol i didn't watch the anime or chinese version of it though because the chinese would be similar and anime... bad graphics (sorry...) and now... i am wanting not-so-patiently for volume 37 and movie subs!!! LOL~!!!!

| ooh i see (: well, glad everyone liked it.......... no wait, who CAN'T like it?????? this is such an awesome manga series!! and if any of my friends need a suggestion on what to read, i would definitely suggest them reading this manga!! it's just so great and really seem to be real to life - alike those other mangas =.=;; (no offense, i mean, i like them - good change once in a while, but it's all just too fake - though i must say, they ARE really cute and sweet XP) can't wait for the new series: Ore no Hanashi wo Shiyouka (search on mangaupdates.com if you want), it's about Ryu's life (I think) - 3 volumes and ongoing but no subs yet!! ): someone please sub it~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<3333333333333333 thanks chu<33333333333

| Actually back in '02, while living in the dorms I went to see a friend of mine, she was sharing a room with her sister. Her sister was really into anime and manga (and she drew her own), I had only seen things like Sailor Moon and DragonBall Z, and really was not into anime. I was really bored and decided to borrow something from her, it ended up being Hana Yori Dango. From the first episode I was completely hooked. I even got my other 3 roommates into it, 2 had never seen anime before. Before long all of us were completely obsessed with it. To the point were we swore an oath that none of us would watch the ending and we could not watch it without everyone being present. Which was very hard by the way considering we had different class and work schedules. I can actually thank Hana Yori Dango because it introduced me to the anime world, which is fantastic. wow: |
