im starting this little debate cause ima bored sooo.......

who do you think is a better couple??
makino X rui
makino X tsukasa

After having read up to volume 27 I have to say Makino & Tsukasa make a better pair.

My reasons are:
- He is crazy about her and goes through great lengths to be with her and help her when she is in trouble.

- Although she says she hates him she thinks about him alot and vice versa.

- They compliment each others personality and she was the only one able to tame him. She changed him.

- Tsukasa only likes Makino and she is the most important person to him. Rui also likes Shizuka and Makino isnt his one and only like she is with Tsukasa.

- They are a less boring couple imo. I find Rui to be boring at times. Except when he is teasing Makino or Tsukasa. Then he is a funny character. But when he dated her I found him boring.

Obviously Im a huge Tsukasa fan. Even with his crazy hair.

Edit: I just read volume 30 and I feel kinda bad for Rui and surprised. I still like Tsukasa better though.

i like makinoXtsukasa, because if she just said yes from the second time he confessed, she would have a much better experiences with him. plus she would never have been involved with rui

i feel sorry for makino. rui played her for revenge on tsukasa

Makino and Tsukasa- All I can say is HE NEEDS HER!
For all the money he has, she is the only thing that allows him to show his human side. He became endearing to me with all the stupid thing he do and say.
Makino loves him for all that he is the man, the boy, and the brat.Tsukasa loves her the same.. for all that she is.The tom boy, the pauper ,and the weed.
What better pairing can you ask for? or ending for that matter?

I really don't like the tsukasa and makino pairing. I prefer rui and makino. It's disturbing that makino ended up with the guy who constantly abuses her, although he kept saying he loves her. For one thing, in the beginning of school year, tsukasa tasked his school mignons to sexually abuse makino but she was saved by rui. There was also another scene where makino was being dragged in a car and tsukasa refused to save her (he only came for her after she was extremely hurt and embarassed by her classmates) because of jealousy (come on, who would do that, if you loved a person even if you were extremely jealous you won't let them die). Also, it seems tsukasa only goes after makino when he becomes jealous like that time when he was in new york. He easily gave up his love for makino, he only chased her after learning that she was with rui.

In the first few chapters, I disliked Rui because I felt he was using Makino to forget about the girl he loved. However, I felt that Rui's feelings were genuine when they started to develop. He never admitted his feelings for Makino until after he was certain that he was really in-love with her. In some way, Rui could be blamed for the circumstances that have developed in the ending but I feel sorry for him because love, in reality, is just like that, it takes time to fully understand if you love a person or not and the development of his love for Makino took far too long, allowing Tsukasa time to snatch her away. The one memorable scene that shows how much Rui loves Makino was the scene at the stairs. Makino was stating how much she used to love Rui but now she has moved on, while she was doing that, Rui was crying (Rui was not facing Makino so she would not know that he was crying).

You know, I REALLY never would have thought she would end up with Tsukasa if I just read the first few volumes.

It's really just amazing how much Tsukasa's character changed throughout the manga (still kind of the same in a way, but different in other ways).

All I can say is that Tsukasa x Makino is a good couple.

Makino shows kindness and love to Tsukasa and he helps her = mutual love

And that's my favorite kind of love (I don't like couples that are one-sided AT ALL).

I think MakinoXHanazawa is the better couple because Tsukasa is so abusive!
Rui is much much nicer to Makino, although Tsukasa may love her more. I think that Tsukasa may love Makino so much that he's become a little obsessive and over-protective

everytime read this two couple made me laugh and made my day too
for rui with makino is a little bit boring for me

and i was completely fan of Tsukasa (rui, sorry ^_^
