What the hell, I think Toujou deserves Manaka the most, I mean she gave up so much things, went to the same high school as Manaka and they even have the same dream. And to make things worse, the stupid mangaka went to make their love sanctuary numbers similar which means that they were fated for each other but didn't end up with each other, and what the f**k she even has to end it with a stupid f**k as hell misunderstanding of Toujou and her brother being in a relationship. I mean, I do think Nishino would be quite pitiful as well but she deserves someone better than Manaka and Toujou deserves Manaka the most. GOD DAMMIT CHANGE THE FRAKIN ENDING. EVEN IN LILIM KISS THE PROTAGONIST HAS TO SUFFER IN THE ENDING. DON'T MAKE A ROMANTIC STORY IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE ENDING MORON OMG. NOW SHE'S EVEN MAKING NOT JUST A LOVE QUADRILATERAL, BUT A LOVE HEXAGONAL ++ IN HATSUKOI LIMITED. I ACTUALLY CRIED OVER THIS MANGA CUZ OF THIS STUPID ENDING. OMG

First off, I think you should calm down....The first time I finished the manga, I was irriated as FOCK! Slowly, after rereading the manga several times, I started to accept(I am a Nishino fan) it. I do pity Aya though because she was the female lead for the story and didnt lead up with Manaka but that just shows you that if you dont act accordingly, even if you are fated, you wont end up with that "someone".(lol contradicts...), I agree that if Aya didnt attend the love sanctuary with her brother, the situation would have been better but would the situation with them end then? It would have been a neverending cycle without that little push. Aya's confession was too late, Manaka already decided, actually already was going out with Nishino when she confessed. Not saying it was all her fault because, Manaka definitely have feelings for her too, but nonetheless, you cant go wrong if someone who confessed to you and you have feelings towards too(nishino this time).

y..i agree wit ironbomb...da 1st time i finished reading it,i cried 2...for days i think..hehehe(can't handle da sweet story n i wish ders more continuation)....well,personally i think toujou deserved to be hepi wit manaka..she sacrificed a lot of stuffs n imagine falling in luv wit sum1 for 4 years n not getting da man wit u...dat SUCKS!!!but after i think bout it,i guess nishino-san also deserved to be hepi wit manaka...she sacrified a lot of stuffs too like toujou..in fact,even dou she knew dat manaka is in love in toujou while dey r dating back den,she still keep her heart for manaka n let it go...in d end,she got manaka..i think dats quite fair...o y..hev u guys read suzuka or love hina??dose mangas releived my sadness after readin dis manga..think u should try reading it too...

i think that the one that deserve manaka the most is toujou because like some of u say she had give up a lot of thing to manaka. Nishino don't deserve manaka because when i read the manga she hardly give anything up for manaka why because she chose to go to her own school. She already have a chance with manaka and broke up with him because he couldn't decided who he like and didn't raise there relationship. Aya did confess to manaka before Nishino did its just that Manaka is to dumb to notice that it wasn't acting because even Sotomura sister even noticed it and when she heard that Manaka is going out with Nishino she take both of them to the threater and show him the confession scene and he would go and break her heart . This is my opinion of nishino she is greedy, and always wanted Manaka to think about only her i hated when she always use that stupid sad face when just so that Manaka would run after her.... o and i think that the reason he went out with Nishino is because he thought that Aya brother is her boyfriend he was sad and couldn't think so all he think about was Nishino when he meet her on the way home (i think) he just confess to her..Aya was there to cheer up Manaka when he was so down when he didn't pass the University test and what about Nishino she wasn't there when he needed some1 to cheer him up .. i think that when Aya told Manaka about what happen during the time Aya was tutoring Manaka that she had kiss him and she walk away i think that Manaka must have felt very regrat( i think i spell it right) about him choosing Nishino over Aya because he was saying to himself " please turn back...no please don't turn back" *sigh* just like Sotomura said it look like Manaka Let the big fish go and chose a smaller fish lol. O YEA ONE LAST THING Nishino act the same thing like one of my younger friend girlfriend she would always look sad in front of my friend just because he did one small thing wrong (just like Nishino always have a sad face on her and making Manaka thinking about her sad face and make him run after her ) i just hate people that act like this.......lol omfg i was talking way to much lol well thats my comment on this thread i think i was off topic lol.... *sigh* this is one of the sadest manga i have ever read so it did have a lot of impact on me. To me i felt very sorry for Aya at the end Manaka change her whole life but at the end she didn't have him .. ( Nishino is a B****) i think that the ending is in between ok and not ok because the reason it is ok is because Aya is happy at the end and the not ok one is Aya really love Manaka Yet she couldn't get him... grrr i still have a lot of thing to say but it look like i have taken a lot of space here so i'll leave it like this... this book almost make me cry

At least somebody understands when the 168 chapter came out. Even though it was fan fiction thats how the ending should be. The drawing are nice and the girls are cute but the ending was crap. I don't even go back and read ichigo 100% and love stories I loved the best, Love Hina, Maison Ikkoku, etc. Because the main character kept holding on to the first feelings he/she has and gets the man/woman in the end. The reality is how the original ending goes but reality suck s d...!! If you set out to get what you want, it may not happen but sometimes it does. That how I feel, I am sorry for the people who all for Nishino, but understands from my point of view. You guys have your ending, at least let the AYA fans have ours.

I read this few times..and i think that the end was a bit odd...i think that Aya woud be Better Choice... I was crying for 4 hours lucking that at that time was midnight and i was at home alone..

i finish this manga about a year ago and i didn't like the ending either, didn't manaka had to wait like 4 or so years until they(him and nishino) met up again; if he had chosen Aya then he could spent time with her and/or they could of been living together. She would have gone to school, while he work and make his movies with her help, supporting each other.

I took the same side as you in another forum by supporting Aya, that she gave up more than Nishino but since you got her side, Ill take Nishino's side. It is truly absurd for you to have stated "NISHINO DON'T DESERVE MANAKA", That line right there burned my eyes. I agree that Nishino is at "fault", so to speak, for not conversing with Manaka before taking the Oumi examine BUT if it wasnt for her getting accepted into Oumi and DROPPING her spot for Izumizaka, who knows if Manaka would have gotten accepted, one of the three, Komiyama-Satsuki-Manaka, wouldn't have made it in for sure since they are the only students on the waiting list.

Woah...now that irritates me . I might not be able to change your opinion of Nishino but how the heck is Nishino greedy? Each time Nishino went on a date with Manaka, all Manaka ever do is think about random things, irrevelant to the date or Nishino. That is her expression[personally I find it adorable] and shouldn't be bashed. I concede that Aya's brother was the catalyst for Nishino x Aya but how could you blame Nishino since Manaka ran into her arms. Actually, Manaka was just wandering around and bumped into Nishino. Nishino comforted him, cheer him up and revived his broken heart. The scene where Aya explained the situation to Manaka, he was going out with Nishino and if Aya have turned back he is afraid he couldn't prevent himself from going after her but that would only have drag the story even further....I actually DON'T remember that quote =X....when did Sotomura[sister I am assuming] say that?

Nishino didn't "act". Those are her true feelings!! Sorry but you are looking at the manga too simplisticly...what was the moral of this manga, have you realize that yet?
Sorry if it feels like I am bashing/flaming you, I am not...just when I get into a conversation about this manga, I get heated up...I have taken the side of Aya, so I do know what you are trying to say and express but by no means did you have to bash Nishino to prove your point.

I have read the fan-fiction a while ago and all I got is one word to describe it, Pathetic. The whole thing was reused pages of previous scenes sticked together by changing the words. The way the characters acted in the fanfiction was totally out of character.
Yet, I ask do you understand the moral of the story? Fairy-tale endings is what everyone was hoping for and just because it didn't go that way, people start bashing it.

Yea, they had to wait 4 years because Nishino was at France(I think....) learning as a pastry chef. I believe that they do keep in contact though, unlike the rest of them(film club). That wouldnt of worked because then it would be the same old Manaka again....the Manaka at the end of the manga is someone to praise whilst the one he was at the beginning of the manga is someone you wanna kick towards the right path. Another thing is, Manaka depended on Aya's script too much prevent him from progressing, same true for Aya too, limiting herself to writing movie scripts.

Fairy tale or not, the main thing I am trying to say is the ending is just didn't feel right. And trust me, It took more than a week to come to understand why he ending with Nishino. First thing first, I DON'T HATE NISHINO. I have no reason to hate her because she was the closest in relationship with Manaka. But I am still an Toujou fan, even though she should had a little more continence and then maybe the ending could been better. Now, you ask me did I understand the moral of the story? Maybe not, but you could understand how I feel about it.

I didn't touch let alone read any ichigo in a year and half. The internet can be ugly place to have the most stupid fights about anything. And trust me, I've kept my mouth shut when the Nishino fans was bashing on Aya and then they come out with the fan fiction. And now you are calling it pathetic just because the Aya fans want some closure I want to say on to you just so you won't get angry . LET IT SLIDE. The whole story had me upset for a long time. The fan fiction sort of help me feel a little better about the manga.
