Naraku is one of the best anime villains.
Smart, doesn't miss a chance to cause misery and to use others... but in the end... all he wanted was the one woman he fell for.
I felt really sorry for him, and honestly, if I was Kikyo, I'd hook up with him

Anyways... I always liked negative characters, they're the most unpredictable.
I hate it when the spiky haired hero always turns the odds in his favor

Although Naraku is an evil charecter in this manga, I still like him very much. I always like the super villians in any manga, anime, movie .etc , because, you know, the way the smug, the way they find ways to make people feel pain and miserable...

But, like the others said, I actually also feel kinda sorry for him.

He did all these things just to wins Kikyo's heart...

And all these times no one cares or looks after him... he's just alone...

I know maybe I am a little bit over emotional...but I really do feel sorry for him....

ok...Naraku wasnt so bad afterall, he only wanted to be with Kikyo...^_^i'm sorry for him & i dont hate him, but nor do i like him...^_^but i didnt get it in the end...what was Naraku & Shikon no Tama's wish...?^^

Narakus name means basement

Or Hell is how their useing it but that's what it used to mean. Now it means basement

Narakus story is sad, but character development greatly lacks in this manga so maybe that's why so few feel for him -and Kikyo!
Though Kikyo's story in the anime worked for me

There's only one thing that bugs me about Naraku-Why did he had to ruin Inuyasha's and Kikyo's bond?(don't need to answer this question))If he loved Kikyo why not kidnappe her,why kill,what's with the blood?oO But still I like him,he's the best villain I ever seen

i know you didnt want this answered, but i couldnt help myself: Naraku injured kikyo masquerading as inuyasha to break the bond because
1) he wanted to see her heart full of fear and hate [because that turns him on, i guess]
2) if he would have kidnapped her, she never would have gone for him because hes a wicked demon and shes in love with inuyasha
also, he injured her to near death in the hopes that she would wish on the shikon no tama to save her life. This was his perfect plan, gone wrong when kikyo chose death AND to burn to jewel with her.
score : 1 kikyo / 0 Naraku

And ofcourse he never aticipated kikyos reincarnation and the resurfacing of the jewel OR Kikyo being brought back to life.
