Ok, I'm not going to lie. I'm pretty sure Rumiko Takahashi jipped us on this last chapter.

First of all, I'm not sure how the well worked in a way so that she could conveniently graduate high school...feel free to explain.

Second of all, where's the cute stuff? Like a pregnant Sango or anyone kissing?

Third of all, why is Kaede still alive? If you think about it, she was alive when kikyo was actually living for the first time. That's weird.

And lastly, this bothered me the most, why didn't she show any character growth? And I mean literally! It's been three years and last time I checked, a 15 year old girl and an 18 year old girl don't look the same.

But this might just be coming out of my overall depression. How can InuYasha be over?

I feel jipped, too.

Eleven years, and we get a cute little Shojo-esque epilogue. No deep character revelations, no explanation of why Sesshy took care of Rin (was it really pedaphilic, or fatherly, or responsible debt-repayment? That Kimono gift hinted too much to the first option, and it freaked me out).

Koga wasn't mentioned (maybe he married Amane?), The lack of demons in Kagome's time wasn't touched upon, or her father's lack of existence.

We saw no weddings, and while Sango and Miroku had three kids (awww), Inuyasha and Kagome have none. Which left me with another question or two: Is InuYasha like a mule and can't reproduce? If a Kagome became pregnant during one of Inu's human nights, would the baby be human?

As a Takahashi manga, I'd rate this ending as "not as frustrating as Ranma's, much less satisfying than Maison Ikoku's"

I completely agree! The ending to Ranma 1/2 irked me a bit too, but i'll save that for a different thread...
And if Inuyasha and kagome had a kid, isn't there a 50 % chance the kids going to be a half demon too...( i just made a very sad punnett square)

im very puzzled at the ending myself. rumiko leaves the series with a happy ending, but a lot of unanswered questions. First off, what did naraku wish for and that whole thing with kagome vanishing? Shouldn't she have been transported to hell, and if so, isn't it impossible to escape?! Kagome's father? Is Kagome forever stuck in the past or does the well still work?

Yes I agree, the convenience just seems a bit too idealistic
and, this is just my opinion, since Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation and they're supposed to look alike, I thought at least Kagome should start to look like Kikyo a bit as she "ages". It's just an opinion, I don't want flames

1st of alli f you change the hair style up a little kagome and kikyo do look the same.2ndly the wish naraku wished was to be with kikyo.3rdly.it did show age differnts I.E. gramps and sota. and kagome in a way seemed older to me.

their eyes are way different in my opinion... and eyes are one of the most important features in manga drawing. O_o
well, no offense, that's just what I think and I understand why you disagree since some of my friends think they're quite identical as well.

I thought that maybe Kouga went with Ayame but then I remebered Ayame was a anime only character(sadly)..so I do not know what happened to Koga..It's true that Kagome didnt look different at all neither did Inuyasha Miroku sango shippo rin or Kaede..only Souta and grandpa did..And um I dont know much about Kagomes father exept that Kagomes grandpa is not her moms dad but her dads dad...I read tha on Wikipedia...I sorta also wanted Rin to stay with Sesshomaru...I feel the ending was very rushed..like I was expecting there to be like at least 3 chapters after Narakus defeat..(Since it took so long to accomplish just that)
