Don't people who believe in reincarnation believe that if they lived thier life in a good honest/moral manner that they are rewarded with better conditions in the next!?!? Therefore she should have been glad that atleast some part of her got to be with Inuyasha. Wouldn't that prove to her that what she went through wasn't invain?

You didn't mention anything about what she had done after she was reanimated/brought back. She had no chance against Naraku when he was newly formed and he tricked and killed her; So what made her think that she could defeat him with Naraku having most of the Shikon Jewel and herself only having a small part of her soul and using the souls of dead women as the batteries/glue to keep her going? She had opportunities to get rid of him before he gained his strenght and powers, like when he was little more than a head after getting hit with Kagome's arrow and she didn't take it!

I've agreed that her life sucked, but after she came back and got the facts she didn't try to take down Naraku before he caused more death and destruction. She helped him to cause more- even when he was trying to destroy her. That is why no sane person could like her in my opinion.

K before I start I just want to let everybody know that I do not hate kikyo. Kagome is probably better off where she is but it all boils down to destiny. In the anime, Kikyo mentioned that once the thread of fate are tangled..it cannot be undone(can't remember the exact words but you get my point) meaning Kikyo did realize that it was her destiny to protect the jewel and to die with it. whatever happened between her and inuyasha was all meant to be. I feel sorry for her and what she has gone through but I also feel sorry for Kagome as she always feel like that she is second to Inuyasha's heart. She loves Inuyasha and if you truly love someone, you would do anything for them..even if it means sacrificing your happiness. Inuyasha also needs Kagome, he does not seem to function well when she is not around and he doesn't fight well without her.

If you think about it Kikyo was brought up with great responsibility so of course her attitude is going to be much diffrent compared to the never having to do anything unless she wanted to Kigome! I'm not a fan of Kikyo or Kigome to be honest. I think neither one is really a good match for Inuyasha. Kigome is always whinning and Kikyo is always so stuck up. Well what ever way you see it you can't really blame Kikyo for her behavior. She was kind to a fault and just wanted to be a normal girl who could be with Inuyasha.
