Honestly, if you haven't noticed but Kiss in the Blue (creator of Kare First Love) is more alike MARS than the other topic: Kare First Love VS. MARS. The similarities are uncanny!

I'm sorry but i read Kiss in the Blue, and I just started this one.

I must say KB is by far not even close. The character's actually have a personality and a story. Sure KB characters had a past etc but it felt fake , like it was only there for impact.
(READ Hana Yori Dango a good manga)
I was actually interested in reading this manga, I just hope it ends well. KB on the other hand I had to force myself to read it.

The manga and drama are both great! I suggest you read the manga first then watch the drama Zhan Shen Mars! The song is awesome too!
