|  they both were bullied but in the end Naruto was loved and gained others sypmhaty so I'll go for Gaara ,his childhood was more messed up~ I mean when he finds someone he thinks he can trust;he is being betrayed right after that but naruto found love and really was determined to hold the things which are precious to him strongly and anyway...Gaara didnt have anyone in the first place so it is normal for him to be hungry for some ^Ai^

| c'mon,,its definitely Gaara, i couldnt even think a person can survive such a sinister past! Naruto's childhood is not as grave as Gaara's. ,,Naturally, Gaara's being is a far different.

| Probably Gaara. Because Naruto had his squad, Iruka-sensei, Jiraiya, Tsunade, the people at the Ichiraku, all the other rookie squads, their sensei, and some other people i didn't mention. Gaara had himself. And a lot of people that hated him. Gaara wins, although I don't think it's a good award. Poor Gaara!

| It's Gaara. Gaara's childhood was 100% negative in the psychological sense. I think his childhood was worse.

| hmm...i wonder who voted for Naruto...and still i think even Sasuke has a very sinister past as well...i dunno, somhw i feel its graver than Naruto's. cuz Naruto never really knew the reason til he had come somwht right in age, but Sasuke was drowned in all the things that happened and with everyone talking abt it all the time and that happened when he's very young. nwys, Gaara's still so much grave.
