Well so far in the Straw Hat Crew the professions are:

Captain - Luffy
Swordsman/First Mate - Zoro
Navigator - Nami
Marksman/Sniper/Inventor - Usopp
Chef- Sanji
Doctor- Chopper
Archaeologist- Robin
Shipwright- Franky
Musician- Brook

So...if anyone else joins the crew what sort of professions would they have cause Luffy tends to pick people with certain professions

I can't really think of any at the moment

it's clear that he just need some normal crewmates's (but ofcourse, in a crew like that nobody is normal, so whoever wants to join the crew they realy gotta have the guts to beat up every one who gets in their way).

Well you can look at luffy's crew two ways, their profession as well as their fighting style.

My guess is the next one will be someone who fights with an odd weapon, perhaps a mace, axe or whip. That being said, I would have to agree with the above, probably a spy or some kind of scout (perhaps someone who is extremely fast). As there isn't much to choose from for professions that aren't already listed. Perhaps animal tammer or fisherman lol.

As for Luffy's crew to get a bunch of "regular" pirates, I highly doubt it. As Luffy's crew has to take a lot of damage and I don't think a lot of people could make the cut. Then again, Luffy does have a big enough ship now for a much larger crew.

it is quite impossible for luffy to recruit more members since he has every person he needed to survive and have a nice time at the sea...in addition everyone in luffy's crew is practically perfect in his occupation and does not need replacement...finally i doubt if they can find nakama in New World because most of the people heading there are pirates from other crews...

You maybe right..but i wonder maybe rayleigh guy will join them..cause he strong as hell too..right?...that would make their crew more superb!heh!

Rayleigh should join. If its not rayleigh then they need to get someone that knows of the new worlds islands. Since rayleigh has already sailed through that area, he would be a perfect canidate for part of luffy's crew.

And i'm not sure if i'm the only one who wants this but......... i want hachi to join! Their crew is already made up of weirdos so why not add another!
