in the chapter 498 one of the saved pirates mentioned the name "pirate empress hancock". now we know, that she is the empress of amazon lily (and they also said, that lolas mom is a strong pirate). i think she could be related with lola, the ugly female pirate. on amazon lily strength = beauty, so they say, that boa hancock is the most beautifull doesn´t mean, that she ist really beautifull. another point is, that lola don´t know how to handle with men (she asks every strong man to marry her) is a sign, that she was raised by amazones. we will know more with the next chapter, but i think that the "pirate empress boa hancock" is lolas mom and she is going to help the one and only mugiwara no luffy, because he saved her daughter.

what do you think about it?

well its the same conclusion i came to as well, or at the very least one of the ppl in the empress's crew is her mom. Either way since it was introduced into the story, whoever the mom is,she is bound to be important

Edit: i forgot but wasn't the paper given to Nami?

That bit about Luffy's mom as an Amazon could work, if like only 1 in a million Amazon children are male...

I think Luffy's mom IS Amazon, he's that one in a million. And Luffy's grandmother is Amazon too, but his grandfather from that side is...GOL D. ROGER!!!

wow, all interesting theories

but the one that I was thinking about when I read this chapter was that it could be Lola's mom....but i really like the theory about she could be Luffy's mom that'll be awesome lol

Oh man, 90% of me is saying that it's Lola's mom but I want that small 10% of it to be Luffy's mom. NOW that would be the greatest shocker but also the funniest thing that could happen. Luffy's mom would be like.....super strong to be with Luffy's dad, Dragon.
