Default Brooke, what's up with him?

I understand that he is basically immortal but....
He has no sensory organs and no nervous systems but is shown hearing, tasting, seeing, etc.
He has no lungs, diaphragm, tongue, or lips but can talk.
He has no muscles but can move.
Why isn't he immobile, blind, deaf, silent, etc.? (Yes, I understand that otherwise he wouldn't be much of a character and more of a prop but on some fundamental level it just seems a little off to me.)

Basically, I'm reading too much into it....
So what your saying is that looking for meaning here is about as futile as in the real world?

Default Logic always applies...

p1) Eating a devil fruit allows the individual to ignore biochemical/physical limitations that normally apply.
p2)Brook ate a devil fruit.
Therefore, Brook's condition ignores biochemical/physical limitations.

I guess I figured out what was up with brook.

One reason why some people do not enjoy, or understand one piece is from seeing to logically into what is in the anime, or deduces it as childish.

So much the worse for those people... I enjoy appying logic and science to fiction, to better understand and explain it.... as i've said before and will again, although fiction is fiction, it's based on the real world since that is where the author lives..... We write from what we know and the leaps we make from that point still started from the ground beneath the feet.

We are all childish.... but only some of us are mature enough to admit it.

I agree with the childish part. From my own experience i thought one piece was childish but i was completely wrong.
