I'm talking about currently, I don't think Ace if he tried fighting Luffy without his Logia powers could he stand up against Luffy's Gears. Luffy solely relies on his physical strength to attack (helped by his powers), whereas Ace relies on his ranged fire attacks. Luffy is more of a "berserker" combat fighter, while Ace is like a "wizard" fighter. And while Ace is strong I just don't think he is as strong as Luffy. And when they were kids Luffy had no combat experience, and Ace was probably bigger and stronger during that time so of course Luffy would lose even with his DF powers.

ONE, If Ace was fighting luffy(< with his powers), and Ace did not, it would be an interesting

battle, but Ace has more experience fighting than Luffy. Luffy and Ace both were raised by

Garp for while, it is from Garp that luffy started off as a good fighter. Also, luffy using his

gears, is helpful, but still comes with a costy price and can not be used for long periods of

time from the stress on his body.And If you basicly look at Luffy and Ace, Ace's body is built up

stronger. Yes there must have been a time when Ace was bigger than little childish luffy. A

battle like that Ace would not take seriuosly enough to go all out, but stil beat luffy with

out his powers.

Has any body of thought about the fact that smoker is non-stop smoking his cigars????
even when hes resting, but when the escaped the goldrain casino in alabasta he attacked zoro cause he wanted a clear answer why zoro rescued him, but he did it with his sword-like weapon instead of smoke!!!!i think it was like this cause his cigars turned out from the water, and my theorie how to defeat him is based on this: i think he can't use his fruits ability when he isn't smoking, and then it would mean the just have to steel his cigars( in logue town he was still smoking)

I haven't yet seen it from that point till now, but it sounds plausible to me...

That raises an interesting point. I also think that if Smoker has staff made of the sea rock, then he would be able to beat anybody, yet he is not an admiral. Any ideas why? Also, I think that Usopp should build in the sea rock into Nami's Clima Tact or whatever it is called. That is probably the only way she can hold her own against a devil's fruit user.

maybe u are rite ..but in logue town did he smoke (i remember he using his smoke to chase luffy, but i dont remember if he smoking or not) when the storm come?
