As of right now, who is stronger? Luffy or Zoro. Zoro is pretty fast and strong, but Luffy has his second and third gears. Would be an interesting matchup.

proboly zoro because you can still slice rubber. it all depends on zoro's defense since luffys really all offensive crazyman style.

they fought and it was kind of even

Yeah that's an interesting match-up.. I doubt that they will really fight head-on in the manga (anime).. Zoro will make luffy the pirate king (that's what zoro said)

Well Luffy ain easy to beat... wehn he on second gear he moved faster than Rob of the CP9. In that high speed. Zoro would not be in any sort on advantage.. appart from the bladez he gat..
One thing we oughta know iz Zoro and Ruffy are acctually very Good friends. Zoro always gives his Captain stregnth and comfort ....all through why the under go together. Thats why Zoro and Luffy will never combat...unless under Manupilation ...maybe latter by Deflamingo.
Zoro will definately help Luffy Be Pirate King and Luffy will always be beside Zoro till the end. Remember what he told Luffy after bein sliced by Mihawk...Captain I will never loose a match...
He Call Luffy Captain more than any other crew mate...Like Name and Chopper.
These ppl are Nakama. Nakama donn kill eachother ...its not Marshal D Teech we talkin bout but Roronoa and Monkey D Luffy. Son of D Dragon of D Grap and Brother to D Ace...all these ppl know true frienship.

I think Zolo will win! He can cut rubber and that means Luffy would lose some body parts in the battle, so GO ZOLO!
