If the people who are royalty are better than everybody else, then why isn't King and princess of Alabasta part of the royalty, and therefore could receive an admiral to protect them when Crocodile came, but to my knowledge no one came. Why is that?

My guess is that because the Tenryuubito(the World Nobles) are very close to the Headquarters
and they must therefore know something that is very important to the World Government.
To me they look like trash and useless short minded idiots but probably because of their title
they cannot be killed by the Government...

not all countries are seem as very important
and crocodile was part of the world government after he stopped being a pirate, he is seen as an ally to the government, so theres really nothing they can do, unless they can somehow prove that he is doing a crime, which they can't
