i like this out of kaoru, i like this from hikaru, yeh, i think i love them both equally.

hikaru is a great character, and i love him too...
but kaoru's more sensitive and kind, and that's more my type...
i also like the angsty, serious type [zero from vk, kyou from fruits basket] and the goofy, funny type [nakatsu from hana kimi, the jdrama]

i like them both, but kaoru is more sensetive and mature. everytime he comes it kinda makes my heart break!!!

I like Kaoru more just because he thinks of Hikaru feelings before his and although he like Haruhi he kepts it inside so he's the better twin

I prefer Kaoru because he gave up on his own feelings to help his brother.

I like Kaoru better. My reasons for this:

1. During their twincest act, he's always the uke.
2. For a long time he was cheering for his brother to end up with Haruhi even though he loved her as well. He couldn't deny his feelings forever, and eventually caused Hikaru pain, but it was sweet of him to value his brother's happiness over his own. I'm a sucker for a self-sacrificial character (probably because they don't exist in real life, oh ho ho ho, how cynical of me).
3. In the end, he choose Hikaru over Haruhi. That was a favorite moment of mine in the manga. I was deeply touched.

Agreed

Kaoru is also more mature and calm, which I would say is more reliable in the long run ^_^

Though I am a TamaxHaru fan, I personally say Kaoru all the way. He's nicer (even Haruhi said so) and at times Hikaru and be rude at times.
