If it weren't for him, the club would probably cease to make money, and LORD KNOWS that that'd be absolutely horrible...lol
Besides Tamaki and Haruhi, all of the hosts are my favorites. I don't have a character that I absolutely despise(okay take that back. Granny's a bitch. Renge's a whore-able[get it, horrible lol sorry]person who gets on my nerves. Alot.) Each host has his qualities that separate him from the rest, but also add to the whole. Without Kyouya, we wouldn't have a cruel character who you have to dissect to understand. He adds interest without really trying to. He's fantastic.

Did you know that if the first chapter was 10 pages shorter Hatori Bisco would have dropped Kyouya as a character? That would have been so sad! And yeah, I like Kyouya because he's kind on the inside, but he's evil on the outside. And then there's another layer on top of the evilness reserved for when he's a host. It's like double acting to hide his true self. Very intriguing indeed.

Omg~ A lot of people LOVE Kyouya and a lot of people HATE his guts [-cough- Morons. -cough-]. I've also heard:

'he's so hot w/o his glasses' [ahem. He's gorgeous with them on too. That's quite an insult to him. Your practically saying he's unattractive with them.]

'I always like guys who I'd normally hate in real life' [God. I would be Kyouya's accomplice in ALL blackmail schemes and set ups. He's the kind of guy I would get as a friend right away... Probably because were so much alike and enjoy the same things.]

I probably feel this way cause he's such a 'bad guyish-don't mess with me- you'll be screwed if you get me angry- cough up the money' type of guy! Except for the guy part, that's exactly how I am in real life... So... I guess that just means I love myself a lot? ....O.O.... LOL!

I would find it impossible to hate Kyouya, even if my life depended on it. I can't hate the bad boys and the devilish one's [AKA The twins and The Shadow King]. The type of Tamaki usually irritates me. I find them VERY annoying and just plain stupid. Oh, -mock smile- please respect my opinion.

Oh yeah. I should probably mention that i've got a glasses fetish. I ALWAYS have crushes on the guys who wear glasses in my class as well as in animes, lol.

[P.S. LOL! All of you Tamaki fans, don't get angry. You too, BlueSakura. I was just kidding around; I'm not pissed at you at all for not liking Kyouya. Anyway, I do understand what you think about him. Kyouya's more of a steel-type of person which means to say, tough and mean in exterior but kind and understanding inside. That's just he is, no questions asked. He may think that emotions are just a hindrance but he values friendship like any other character in the manga series. He's blunt most of the time, tactless for that matter, smart, decisive in every action, mature but when things started cooking, he bursts out in his cool shell and shows his other personality, which is good too.

And yes, I quite agree again with the other person above. It's his surroundings that caused him to become like. I mean, look at the Hitachiin twins, they had their own world because no one wasn't able to distinguish them, even to their own mother! We shouldn't judge Kyouya-sama just because of his personality because for me, I like guys like him. They're so introverted, lol!

Well, not introverted of what you think but introverted in terms of emotions, don't you think? It's fun to meet someone like that. And i think guys with glasses are cute nonetheless!

He's pretty cool but a little overrated. He's like Jade (another awesome guy) from the Tales of the abyss game in that way. Almost everyone likes him as far as I know. If there was a crossover it would be interesting to see them chat together. They could get along but he'd also probably annoy Kyouya-he does everyone else.

I like his interactions with Tamaki. It would be cute if they were a yaoi pair but this isnt that kind of manga.

I'm glad he isnt part of the love triangle. I dont want his friendship with Tamaki ruined or turned awkward.

Being mean is his main thing... if he isnt then he wouldnt play his character well...

After all, he is the "Cool" type so he is definately heartless... but that's what turns on the moe switch... like how Renge thought he would be... kind and affectionate... but it is completely the alternate and it is so unusually awesome how his character build-up

If they didn't have the most wonderful host-- Kyoya, then the story would fall apart since the characters are so dense and really... really hard to read... it's his job to explain the readers what's what and without him... who's the strongest character to balance out the story? Try liking him in some way and you would definately understand why Kyoya is awesome
