do you think its impossibe to do most of the moves in real tennis??? i'm not really sure since my tennis isn't really good

so wat do you think?

Not all the techniques are impossible, just majority of them are. Twist serve for instant, TECHNICALLY you can do it, but not necessary to the extent/level that is shown in the anime/manga. Anyways, you shouldnt take the series to seriously lol, Ryoma always wins ^^.

u can PROBALY do them logically but if u litterally do that u can be a genius or so..

yea ... i though so too but i always wondered since the author wrote a sports book does he play tennis as well? but... A LOT of the moves you can tell you can't do

I play tennis. I watch professional tennis too.

What interests me most about this manga is that it tries to explain irrational things in a rational manner. While they all might seem physically possible, in reality, they are not. The moves in Prince of Tennis are supernatural instinct, exaggerated spins, excessive power, and supernaturally quick swings. Tezuka's zone requires knowledge of where and how the opponent in tennis will hit the ball next. The twist serve is an over-exaggerated spin serve. Fuji's triple counters rely on wind movements and supernatural instinct. Kaidoh's snake is a crazy side spin which requires abnormal (needless to say supernatural) twisting of the arm and wrist. Kikumaru's acrobatic tennis is actually weak, since it can leave so many openings. Plus, it's harder to get the ball, doing jumps and cartwheels. It may look cool in the anime/manga, but it's actually disadvantageous. Inui's data tennis is what interests me most. It seems very analytic and precise. I suspect that this is the most questionable one of all in the series. On the other hand, Kawamura and Momoshiro's incredible power seems to be the only physically possible moves. Later on, when Momoshiro starts to rely on instinct, his play became less realistic.

As for Sanada's crazy moves and the doors of Muga, it's impossible to do those. At the most, you can get excited and filled with adrenaline, feeling that you have the power to defeat your opponent. Or else, it's a desire you are willing to die to fulfill and the lactate buildup in your body begins to present itself and you feel accomplished.

lol..some of the moves r possible thou...for example jacknife , twist serve , etc..if the tennis player in the real world could do such things like they do in the manga,i think roger federrer or rafael nadal could b da gods of tennis 4 centuries

most of them are possible,, though it's not really the way professionals do it.. there are only a bit changes..

i dont think it would be possible.. since i did watch P.O.T live action, not really good. the skills doesn't look as good as in manga/anime though. i know, sounds like asking for impossible things

anyway, maybe it could be done with a luck
