ok seriously the anime sux testicles there isnt a single part of it thats good, except for the beginning the anime is completely different from the mange i think its bullshit that they had the nerve to change how the over souls looked the end made me want to cut off my own balls a real manga/anime fan would feel the same

Yes, the manga is better, but I don't know if I would even count them as the same story. The anime started off following the manga, but they pretty quickly decided to change the story. Though you might say the anime did well because it never really hit a popularity slump (because it was never really that popular) and ended up having to end pitifully like the manga.

But, hopefully with the re-release Shaman king will become popular again and become one of those outstanding manga that everyone has read and liked.

i like the manga more then the anime but there is parts in the anima thet i like more (like the girl grop and the longr trip 2 patch...)

the past of matamune (if that how u say that) is rely good and the 1080 in the manga better than the anima (1080 is wat anna use)

actually i've seen the anime first and before i thought it was great, just that i feel that there's something missing... and now that i've read the manga completely i'd say its better than the anime. because those "something missing" in anime (like tha past of the characters) are almost well explained in manga. and also there are scenes in the manga that were not in the anime.
