See, I think that that is a complex question. Do I think that Maya is at fault for the "Katana Hunting"? Yes, I mean she DID do the attacks on the club members. Does that make her a bad person? Not in my opinion. She even explained that she wanted to dismantle the Katana group because she was worried about Shin's sanity. But ultimately I think that Shin made his own decisions. That's what I love about Maya's character: she's complex. I think that characters like Aya where you can tell where she's coming from right off the bat is BOOOORING! But question: what do YOU think about it?

It is just bad luck or fate really. The events that were happening were set in motion long before Mays's actions. The aftermath with Mutsuomi is what Maya most directly affected I would say. There are so many stories in Tenjou Tenge it is hard to pin down one cause for things.
