So I was sitting there reading Tsubasa when it suddenly hit me, Fai hair seemed to get magically long very quickly.

It's like one second it's the same length as always, and then BOOM it's long and tied back.

And... am I the only one who thinks someone should rip out the hair tie so people can see it long... and loose (Fai just got 10 times better when he got the eye patch XD)

But ya, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed how long his hair suddenely seemed to grow, or like, maybe I might of missed it slowly getting longer.

like that usally happens in manga, characters seemingly grow longer hair like in one chapter, I completly forgot about that too, I loved his hair when it was not in a long.

That pony tail makes him look like a shojo character, dont really him like him like that...but that eyepatch makes him look really sexy!
And no I think it gets longer but you never notice it.

I think it happened when he became a vampire. It must be magic vampire-hair-growing super-transformation. I liked him better with shorter hair, and that pony tail is just ridiculous.

I personally don't like his eye-patch though, and I really hope he gets his eye back from Cloney.

It must be a characteristic of shoujo because it happened to Yuuki too.

Well, thaks alot for the spoiler from Vampire knight... X( I'm reading it but haven't got there yet.... But anyway Fay's hair didn't go just boom to the long. It has been growing longer since begining of story. In Tokyo it was almost log enought to be in ponytail. So I just guess some time has passed when we see him again in Infinity.
I totally love it. xD Long hair suits him, altought he looks hot no matter how his hair is. And somebody truly have to blow his ribbon so we can see better his hair. And also his eye-pacth looks good.<3 But He would also look so hot with one eye gold and one blue... (Yes, I'm his fan-girl... )

Hm. I think it happened because there actually is a bit of time distance between Acid Tokyo and Infinity. Remember they say that they spent some time searching fro C!Syaoran before they went to Infinity? They even show a flashback of one of those worlds ( Where they throw rocks at R!Syaoran and Sakura shields him ... <3 ) But yeah, even so it was a bit unexpected. I like it though; he looks pretty :3
I like his eyepatch, too. I dunno, after looking back at pictures of him from earlier worlds like Piffle or Shura or Hanshin Republic, he just looks better this way. Like he's matured.
And I don't want him to get his eye back D: Vampire!Fay is made of awesome.

V!Fay is made of awesome, especially when his claws come out. But I much prefer him with two eyes (and I want his blue eyes back - or at least one blue). And I really did like him better when he had magic, as much as he disliked it. I think now that the whole business with Ashura is resolved, he can come to like magic again. He did seem to like it when he was able to use it to help the kingdom, and he was starting to learn how to use healing magic. (<- Wishful thinking from a lover of Magician!Fay)

Ah, yes, Fay living in Celes and more or less happy was nice. Especially when he smiles for the first time and the guards all like spazz over it; so cute! I'm not sure how he would get his magic back, but it would be awesome. Then he could be a Magician/Vampire/Pirate with a ponytail! xD
And yes, the first time Fay used his claws in Nihon I spazzed. I was so happy he was finally embracing his vampire-ness.
Yeah, I guess another reason I don't like him with two eyes is because it just reminds me of all the time he spent being fake and lying to them all. Going back and re-reading volume one and watching him lie to there faces about the feather on Syaoran ... ugh. I don't want that Fay; and even though him getting his eye back doesn't mean he'll start lying again, it would just remind me. But that's just cause I'm weird, I suppose.
I don't mind either way about the eye color thing, him with golden eyes is just as pretty as him with blue eyes =D

could he stop being a vampire now even if he would get his eye back? I mean he doesn't have magic more than before... Or was his magic even involved in that vampire thing? -.- just thinking... but vampire fay= wonderful!

When Kurotan made Fay a vampire, Yuuko told him that if Fay got his eye back, he would stop being a vampire and being dependent on Kurotan as his prey. Assuredly, he won't have his full magic, since he exhausted his magic and gave the last little bit for Kurotan's arm. But, if what we have been told before - that Fay's magic builds with use - he could, in theory, get back to the level of power he had before if he gets his magical eye back. I don't think it'll happen because Fay doesn't like his magic anyway, but maybe it will - I hope so.

Well, I'm extremely frustrated. I had a nice, long detailed post for this topic but alas it was eaten up and I'm not going to bother with it anymore.
