I don't think it's likely, because right before the flashback started, R!Syaoran said that he stayed with the princess of Clow for 7 years, after he returned as a little boy (and then Yuuko turned back time). And I fairly doubt 14-year-old Sakura and Syaoran would have a child.

Well, if Watanuki is really the son of TRC Sakura and Syaoran( and was sent from the future to Tokyo to help Syaoran), that would actually explain Yuuko talk about two futures, let's say it like this... if Syaoran fails rescuing TRC Sakura from Fei Wang then would it be obvious that their child from future would cease to exist? well that's only me and my freak out imagination xD

^^; well, i am confuse myself and i honestly don't know what the hell is really going on... but i think watanuki has connections with trc syaoran and sakura... probably his parents... his whole existence is as intriguing as the existence of those two...

ok, i've read all your post and it might be a spoiler or just a stupid idea but TRC use previous characters from CLAMP other works and if you read carefully TRC you can see that when syoran meet Sakura for the first time while she is making purication stuff, he said that she looks like his mother and that sakura's mother looks like his grand ma, and syoran is said by a few people(including yuko) to looks like his father.So i think he is the son that sakura and syaoran from Card captor sakura will have and as it seems that Yuko's shop is in the "world" where the manga took place ( reference to the sakura of Card captor at the begenning of xxxholic when Watannuki goes in the store) I think that Watannuki is the son of the english kid who was Clow Lead réincarnation and of that teacher he paired with in the end of the volume12. I mean that could explain Watanuki powers, why he is involvedin this story and why Syoran care about him even if they never met each other.

yeah it was mentioned at one point that syaoran from TRC is syraon and sakura from CCS kid.

personally i think that watanuki might have something to do with clow reed you know like he might be Eriol from CCS kid cause he looks like him to me.

and both manga's keep talking about "when the time comes" (Yuuko to Doumeki when she gives him the egg) i wanna know what the fuck thats all about!!! lol....Danni

i keep reading that Watanuki might be Syraoran and Sakura's kid which would be quite cool but they both have brown hair and brown hair where as watanuki has black hair and blue eyes so the math doesnt add up 2 me but it would be cool if thats the case....Danni

He has black hair and sharp eyes ,,, and also connected with Syaoran and Sakura,,,

may be Watanuki's parents is syaoran's cousin ~~ ^^"

'TRUE NAMES' play a big part in this we know that in tsr there is sakura and syaroan who look like CCS Sakura and Syaroan... but they both mention that sakura and syaroan are not their TRUE names.

Syaroan takes his fathers name... most likely because when someone knows your 'true name' they hold a power over you or something like that. Who knows what Fei Wong could do with that.

And sakura mentions when syaroan mentions that she looks like his mother and has the same name was about to to tell him 'but its not' which obviously means it is not her true name either... this will be an important factor.

this is all that i can think of for now but I'll probably come back once i remember more lol.
