im completely lost... can anyone tell me what's happening so far? i can't tell when it's the real syaoran or the clone. And since when has the sakura clone been put in place of the real sakura?
When were they switched? Was it the syaoran clone who started out the journey with them or is it the real one. Actually, which one is the real one? the one who has been with the princess since they were young or the one who was always shown being trapped in Fei Wong's hideout? im realli confused.

Okay this took me a little while to figure out as well but this is what I think is going on.

The clone Sy. has been with them since a little while after the seven day visit from the REAL Sy. So he actually grew up with Sakura the real one. The REAL Sy. Has been in Fei Wong's tank since he was little after the visit to Sakura during the purification process. You can tell the difference now much easier than before. The clone Sy. left the group to find the feathers back in Acid Tokyo and we haven't seen him since then. Clone sy. has one blue eye and one brown eye and acts very cold towards everyone. The Real Sy. now travels with our group and can seem a bit distant but he is still the same as his clone they are clones after all.

Sakura has been clone sakura since they went to the temple at the very beginning. But the Real Sakura did grow up with the clone Sy. But since she was switched at the start of the journey we are with the clone sakura the whole journey. She fell in love with the fake Sy. and can't see the real Sy. the same way. Recently she had her body destroyed but her soul was saved by Yuko in the dream world. Wei still has the real sakura but her soul was put into the fake sakura.

I hope this has been helpful I know this story has been very topsy turvy.

I really wish that they continue already the story and make it easier to understand. They are making us crazy for being addicted to tsubasa chronicles!

I have another theory about it. This is what I understood:

The real Syaoran and the real Sakura grew up together but once they grew up, Sakura was kidnapped by Fay Wong and was cloned. So, the Real Syaoran had his time turned back so he could save her, but instead he was kidnapped and cloned as well. Then, the clone Sakura and the clone Syaoran grew up together. Do not forget that the real Syaoran said he had never been separated from the real Sakura until he had to turn his time back to save her!!!

This is what I think happened, and it actually makes sense.

But, this doesn't explain the new little Syaoran's mother and father who is the real (or fake) Sakura and the real (or fake) Syaoran which just makes this a reoccuring circle. >-<

Tsubasa messes with our minds! And I thought Ergo Proxy was bad... I think Tsubasa has taken the top place. I'll add xxxHolic in there too because it's pretty confusing as well. @_@

So the top three most confusing manga/anime there is:
1. Tsubasa
2. xxxHolic
3. Ergo Proxy

Well, maybe Ergo Proxy and xxxHolic are about the same...

If you think of it, Fay Wang said that he copied Syaoran, and that he never did copy his memories or his heart. So that he'll make up that along knowing sakura.
So the clone got NEVER separed from sakura in his mind, cause he had no memories. So the cloned Sy. met Sakura-chan being memoryless already. That's why 'Sakura and syaoran grew up together'


ATTENTION: IF YOU DIDNT READ THE LAST CHAPTER OF TRC SO FAR TILL THE 193, DONT READ THIS PART!

The switch, I believe, it has been set after the seven day promisse
Here, in these last three chapters starting from the seven day promisse you can see;
One; The guy who says 'Clow country is sure a great country'
And that they give syaoran and the prince an apple. Everyone is happy and talking about the ceremony, well, the big festival for celebrating sakura hime's birthday.
Now lets think of the clow country, when they arrived (Fai, Syaoran and Kurogane)
And think of the loop. The loop is done the exact day syaoran goes out and meets with the people in the country
Since the actual past has been changed regardless the future, it forms a loop, so unless Syaoran remembers and can do everything exactly as it happened that day he visited clow along with Yukito-san and Touya-sama this loop will keep repeating. Aswell the loop was created cause someting happened right before Sakura's birthday; She was kidnapped and taken into the ruins for first time along with Syaoran.
'What's left to happen it's up to you' Yuuko-san said. That's what for syaoran was given a sword.
I assume, that's when they got switched (as for syaoran and cloned just as for sakura). Sakura got switched when she activated for second time the Ruins (Beggining of the manga) so that for the feathers to scatter, since else there it would be no way she could have lost her memories. Since Fay wang said he put her memories into the Clone, the wings were the recipe to move the feathers from a body to the other, and also the seal in between sakura, and the wings and the thing that was actually grabbing her was not a seal or something 'grabbing her' actually as I said, it was a dimentional port. Same he used to kill Kurogane's mom. Sakura was cloned ENTIRELY, so the actual clone of herself would have not known she was clone, she did not know untill they were at Tokyo.
The actual syaoran knew he was a clone, at the same time he did not know. The actual Syaoran is trying to save Sakura as he promissed he'd do, so he's trying to 'wake up' by himself and that's why Syaoran's clone would move without own will sometimes when sakura was in danger the most.
And I believe, everything will end as it started, or atleast in the place it did, in the ruins. And I also believe that's where Sakura's true body will appear.
Since i highly doubt the body was destroyed, Else sakura would die or have no way to go back to herself since you cannot place a soul in a body that doesnt own it (remember, sakura's soul was cloned, her true soul is in the dream).
It sounds confusing alright I know but that's my assumption, and I also agree a lot with the second poster.
