I have to say CCS Sakura because she's so cute

. Of course I like the other Sakura's, but CCS Sakura I REALLY like.

i like the clone sakura after she figures out she is a clone. once she did figure she was a clone, i felt that she began to reflect on her sins and i love her serious face. i don't know why i like it but it does give a new approach to sakura who is always cheerful and happy.

i prefer the clone sakura after sh find out she is a clone... cause she looks more serious and more cool in another angle... and is much better cause the sakura before is just too cheerful and oblivious...

I know I'm getting myself in trouble here but... I don't like Sakura. She and Honda Tohru are the Mary Sues of manga as far as I'm concerned. Too perfect, too cute, too nice, too forgiving, too stereotypical. Any flaws she has (dumb, "oh no Syaoran you're hurt, whatever shall we do?!) are just there to add to the overall sugary-sweet picture. Something about her (and Syaoran too actually) strikes me as extremely one-dimensional. I just can't care about her at all, when something bad happens to her all I'm thinking is "oh good, maybe she'll finally develop some common sense and brains/guts now." She kind of started to pick up after Tokyo, but then it turned out that all her apparent toughness was just self-sacrifice, and again it makes her look good because poor Sakura's oh so sad and depressed that she and Syaoran are clones and he's gone from her life.
Maybe I'm being hugely unfair, because all of CLAMP's characters are a little too nice, but I still think Sakura takes the cuteness waaaaay too far.

xD I pretty much agree with all of that. Completely. I absolutely cannot relate on any level to someone who is so perilously nice. And she is so blatantly a Sue.

I don't hate her by any stretch of the imagination. I actually like her way proving that you can use the small gifts you have to be strong rather than having amazing magic powers or physical strength (the racing world, for example, and when she uses her connection with dead people). But then it just sort of crumbles because it doesn't add any strength to her as a character, straight afterwards she just goes back to being, well, Tohru. Just recently I re-read the Tokyo chapter where she goes and gets the egg back herself, and I was actually excited for her kicking ass for once and taking care of herself... Then she gets back and while it's sweet it's just too much to believe that she's actually apologizing to Fai.
