ok i just want to get this off my mind we know Fei Wong Reed made xing huo and also the clone Syaoran know from what i hear and remeber when he killed Xing huo he talk about her being a failed creation like before so has he made other creations? i keep thinkign what if he made Wataunki from xxholic just a idea that keeps poping in my head thats all

You have dark and sinister thoughts. Watanuki would certainly not be a failed creation and I think not a creation at all. I always assumed FWR had created an army of surfs - minions he could bend to his will.

I'm not too sure ... perhaps Kyle? We don't know much about him. In chapter 179 or 180 I think we get a glance at a few other woman creations he had made and failed at. I think he was trying to clone Yuuko, though, so that's why he has so many women experiments.

Clone Yuuko???!!!! Wow ...go for it, I need to hear this one. She was very hidden and self-protective though - she may have suspected he wanted to. I love the idea of him cloning lots of women in practice for the prize one!

Can abilities be cloned? I guess so! In which case Yuuko would be the ultimate goal. She being his ultimate 'enemy' the only real obstacle - Tomoyo-hime also (no,no, no leave her out of this please!)

Xing Huo had the abilities to cross dimensions, as far as we saw, when we saw her send R!Syaoran to Yuuko way back in Acid Tokyo. Afterwards, FWR said it was in her nature for her to help him, which makes me asume that he had her cloned after someone who would naturally want to help him out. The resemblance isn't striking, but perhaps FWR didn't care much for appearance, but only the abilites as you said. If FWR has this impossible wish, to bring someone back from the dead, then Yuuko would definitely be someone he would want. However, she would never do such a thing and so FWR tried to clone her instead. I'm not quite sure how, but perhaps they had been closer before, since we do know that Clow and FWR were relatives, and Clow was close to Yuuko. Cloning failed, so he came up with the idea of using Sakura's abilities instead to cross dimensions and carry out his wish. I think the person he is trying to bring back to life is Clow.

Phew. Ah ha, I'm not too sure how much of this makes sense ... but I think FWR, so far, has been getting everything according to how he wants.

I love the idea of FWR and Yuuko together! Followed by FWR stealing some part of Yuuko and cloning her. You can imagine his disappointment at the clone he produced!

Trouble is why would FWR want to bring Clow Reed back? I had assumed Clow initially as he his always spoken of in such awed tones. But they are total opposites and not of the attracting kind either. My personal hero Yue, loved Clow, as you know, and his preferences were thinly disguised. So I think you are right to assume that he cloned mostly females - FWR would find them easier to misuse and eventually dispose of. However if we go down the 'practice' route he would have had to try out a few males before attempting Syaoran.

And how will crossing dimensions bring someone back - unless you cross time and find them?

But brilliant to then resort to plan B and use Sakura.

Maybe he wants to clone himself? He is getting old, and I guess he didn't always look so bad?

I'm not sure of that either-- how would having the ability to cross dimensions bring someone back to life? I dunno, but he has said the power he wants is exactly that ... and Fay said that his and FWR's wish's were the same, to bring someone back from the dead ... The only person I could think of is Clow. Maybe a wife? A loved one of some sort? It would be so CLAMP to give him a hurting heart, or something.

Ah ha, unless he wants to clone himself without his butt-chin of doom. Guh. Preferences, huh? Then I guess people were right when they said Kyle must be his boy toy XD

What do we know about FWR?
You mention Yuuko saying that Fai and FWR's wish was the same, so the bring-someone-back-from-the-dead bit has to be accurate.
I had always assumed they were cousins - FWR and Clow, though I do not think we are told of lineage. Time scales seem to start with Clow and others then are given the honoured title 'descendent of Clow'. Could they be brothers? That would reinforce the similarity between FWR and Fai's wish. Ignore the physical differences for a minute!

You are lovely - giving FWR a potentially heart-rending , rather than purely selfish wish.
I vote for selfish!! Yuuko and Tomoyo feel a strong need to prevent the wish coming true - whilst also saying it is an impossible wish. Maybe he is a clone looking to bring back his real self.

True, true. We don't know anything about FWR personally. hmmm ... brothers? It might be possible. But, then again, there's a higher chance they are related further apart. Yeah, I was pretty much convinced for the longest time that Clow was the reason for all of this and FWR must have wanted something from him so he's trying to ressurect him ... if that's so, then they're probably brothers. Ah ha-- yes, I'm so very kind to give Mr. Monocle a heart.

I'm just trying to get through the most recent chapters. I can only take so many flashbacks. Sure it reminds me of the cutsy CCS days, but I need to find out the relation between Watanuki and Syaoran NOW.

lol wow its cool to hear you both talking like this soo well and its true the flash backs are nice and litie sakura is such a littie doll!! but please go back to the storyline its driveing me canzy, ok hear is samething we all know FWR got his hands on syaoran samehow to make his clone right?? i'm thinking does he do it in this flashback and if not when does he kidnap him in his own time? it makes me wonder and god there are soo many things missing from this
