=Ok, first off, the spoilers I have questions about: Mainly the CSS Syaoran + Sakura one. That made no sense to me! Yes, I saw the other thread about it...but no one explained it in a way I could really understand. Is this 'Syaoran' not really called Syaoran?

I read all of the chapters and seen almost all of the episodes...

Could someone help me understand WHY Kurogane cut off his arm?

Ok to start, yes this new boy's name is not Syaoran. Yuuko mentions that he does not give his "true name" thus implying that his name isn't Syaoran. Later on you see that his mother (whom Yuuko says is Sakura) has paid the price with the star wand showing that his mom is CCS Sakura. So basically, this "Syaoran" is the kid of CCS Sakura and Syaoran.

Kurogane cut off his arm because when Celes was being pretty much destroyed, he and Fai were being trapped in that little ball. Mokona's earing opened the ball somewhat but only Kurogane could escape. So, he cut off his arm and left Souhi in the ball so that he could take Fai out as well.

To clarify the arm bit a little more: Fay made a spell to eject everyone from the imploding Celes, and the price of the spell was that his magic had to remain in the centre of the spell (and imploding world). But Kurotan wasn't about to let Fay be imploded, so he cut off his arm, which contained some of the magic of Fay (Fay had earlier put a spell on Kurotan's arm to hold his sword there) and thus the price of the spell was fulfilled, but Fay was able to be saved. The power in Mokona's earring cracked the shell so Kurotan could get in, but it wasn't enough for Fay to be rescued - so Kurogane had to go choppy choppy. In that moment, Tomoyo communicated with Kurogane and told him to do that if he wanted to save Fay.
