Yes. That's the most likely conclusion anyone would come up with, especially after seeing the star scepter... That Syaoran (TRC) is the son of Syaoran and Sakura (CCS). Also, in one of the recent chapters, Syaoran (TRC) commented that Sakura-hime looks like his mother when she was young. And that Sakura-hime's parents look like his grandparents from his mother's side. Yuko also mentioned that Syaoran (TRC) looks like his father.

This may sound crazy, but I believe CCC Sakura elements work the same for TRC.

1. Recall that the clone Syaoran's memory of the king of Clow Country is Clow Reed, while the real Syaoran's memory of the king of Clow Country is Fujikata-san.
   
2. The fact that Watanuki's price for his wish is his "whole, complete, everything" memory, rather than just the most precious thing compared to other characters (clone Syaoran, Fay, Kurogane) indicates the weight of the wish itself, in other words, the impact of the wish.
   
3. For CCC Sakura (real Syaoran's mom) to pre-pay the price to Yuuko for real little (7-year-old) Syaoran to travel the first time to Clow Country, she needs to possess some kinds of power. Indeed, Sakura did possess the power of seeing future in her dreams (quoted by Yuuko somewhere). In that case, for Watanuki to come all the way to pre-pay for the whole journey (up-down-up-and down @@) until this final battle (CCC Sakura could only see that "somebody is waiting for you") is telling me that, prior to losing his memory, Watanuki possesses a tremendous power!

So in summary, it makes a lot of sense to me that Watanuki is Clow himself. Just like in CCC when Clow divided himself into Fujikata-san and Eriol, he possibly divides himself again into Fujikata-san and Watanuki. Of course, Fujikata-san with no memory of Clow, takes care of the clone Syaoran while Watanuki with Clow's memory and power, later travels to Yuuko and pays the ultimate price to interfere Fei Wong's game plan. The timeline of this incident probably should be right after the real Syaoran gets kidnapped by Fei Wong though I'm a lil bit eiffy about this (if only Clamp can reveal when the King of Clow actually pass away before Touya take the title).

This also can explain why real Syaoran said that Watanuki is the closest one to him. In CCC, Yukito real form once said that because the daddy Syaoran and Yukito possess some how the same origin of power, daddy Syaoran found himself attracted to Yukito. Because TRC Syaoran is the son of Sakura - the inherit power of Clow himself, and daddy Syaoran - relative of Clow; while Watanuki is Clow himself; they are literally closest to each other.

Phew...

Again, this is just my theory. The next thing that Clamp reveals (what the "separated time" period actually means for example) probably will change everything, so I'll be excited about it!
