I agree but when you said Yuuki would be more powerful than Kaname, it would be hard since Kaname is the head of the Kuran Clan. He also drank Hiou Shizuka,s blood which gives him more power and stronger. But I guess it's possible for Yuuki to be stronger than Kaname in the end.

I know it's a crazy idea, and that are going to be mean replys to this, but just think about it. Both Yuuki and Zero have already drinken some of his blood, but rido hasn't. Just a little (okay, a little more than a little) blood from him has made them both exponentially stronger. Imagine what would happen if Rido drank Kaname's blood? I know he already has some of his blood, but that's only a small amount. What if he drank ALL of it? That'd be...horrible. Absolutely horrible. Even though I prefer zero, that doesnt mean I have a death wish for Kaname...at all. Yea, I love zero more. But Kaname, well, he's kinda grown on me.

But when he drank Hiou Shizuka's blood, she said that he would have a dark future ahead because of it...so you tell me.

What you said kind of make sense. I agree with the part where you said Kaname won't have a happy furture. I am not sure about the part with Zeri and Yuuki drinking all of his blood...
By the way, I don't think Kaname is going to try and kill Rido, because he is too smart to try (he can't because Rido is his master) but then, who knows... He might do it for Yuuki...

I think dying is kind of happiness, you know, like dying for your loved ones...(I am not emo!)
Maybe the stuff Shizuka was talking about was him living in darkness forever.... and suffer some sort of loneliness...

Maybe someone might come along and free him from that (please do not let it be Yuuki!)

The 'artemas' rod the yuuki had when she was a human actually appeared on the cover of volume two and is held by none other then kaname.

My possible therioes is that when rido says that he killed haruka with a weapon like that.
Maybe he actually meant that he killed him with that weapon.

And kaname was given the scythe to give to yuuki but obviously without the power of a vampire. as yuuki had her vampiric instincts surpressed (completely) it din't sense anything and retracted,

But that wouldn't explain why it didn't activate when zero touched it.
which leads you to the arguement that it only uncoils when a pureblood touches it,
But kaname holds it when he take it off yuuki in chapter 41.

I like the vampiric yuuki more then normal.
Because now it seems that either zero or kaname would be compatible. whereas before when she was human she couldn't have a future with either of them.

Yeah the artemas is making me feel like its gunna play a big part in the storyline. it might only react to pureblood or maybe it only reacts when a vampire tries to use it?

well... i think it's just been made that way and hidden in the form of a retractable rod. besides, i don't remember reading anything about where chairman cross had actually obtained it from in the first place, so it could have been made that way intentionally and no one would have known about it.
it was probably custom-made for yuki (you would be surprised on how well the story could be planned - take a look at fei wong reed from tsubasa chronicle) and therefore would react only to her, but i'm not sure about this because i've never seen another pureblood touch it before.
btw... the weapon it morphed into kinda resembles death's scythe, i think. (check: izumi lio from full moon o sagashite, momo from shinigami no ballad and~ other sources i think. not sure about this, but the shape does seem to be a stylised form of the typical death's scythe.)
so... yuki is "death"?? just a thought.

Rido couldn't have used the Artemis rod itself against Haruka because he stabbed Haruka with a sword, and it was in its original form (i.e. not changed into a sword by his pure-blood power). Consequently, I read Rido's comment in the latest chapter as referring to the fact that he too used a Hunters' weapon as a pure-blood. But the difference in his case was that he didn't transform the weapon.

Also, the way the scythe was made showed a conscious effort to transform it on Yuuki's part, not just an activation when she touched it. When she touched it as a pure-blood, it was just crackling and hurting her and refusing to extend. It wasn't until she determined to use it and made a concentrated effort that it transformed.

I don't know if I am right. But do you remember earlier in the chapter 41 Kaname says "Artemis was born without a handle or anything, it was born to completely reject vampires, and is a weapon against vampires. You are no longer born as a human anymore."
And in answer Yuki shakes her head...she denies the fact that Artemis 'betrays' her
From this I can tell that Yuki changed Artemis with her willpower, magic and faith in Artemis. Extraordinary weapon for extraordinary person you can say.
