i hate yuki now. she was sooo cool and awesome in the beginning, but now she's totally different! hate it. so anyway i have no idea what's going to happen next. i'm acually loosing interst in this! i was sooo obsessed, but now everything is changing, and it's getting... idk how to describe it. i agree with some people how they said that the kiss didn't deally mean anything... she just did it to get him to leave! thank god! zero can still win!! woo! lol.

I truly love tragedies, even though I dislike it when my favourite characters die (as long as it doesn't end up like a Count Cain ending with Cain and Raff). In any case, my prediction is that Zero will be lost in his new powers, become a monster himself (if you take note of the last page on chapter 40). He takes a while to get to the scene as Rido makes it to the school and injures a few of the Night Class, Zero takes out the Hunter's Association woman while Rido is still advancing to the school and attacking. Ichijou meets up with Kaname and tries to assasinate him while Kaname is defeating those "monsters" and perhaps sides with Kaname in the end to help him. Yuuki in the meanwhile faces Rido, while the temporarily incapacitated Night Class is helpless to defend her. I think Ruka or Shiki might die trying to save Yuuki (as sad as that is). Basically, I think Kaname and Zero will have their hands full and may be near death but I don't think it'll end just yet. It'll probably be another cliffhanger.

Oh, another thought just popped into my head. Perhaps Yuuki will be defended by the Chairman for a bit against one of Rido's servants (doubtful it'll be Rido himself).

hmmm...i have many ideas what might happen next, but the most troublesome one is that, in chap 41 when Yuuki changed her clothes we saw one page earlier that Rido was feeding(yuck) & then he suddenly stopped talking & in next page that look in his eyes when Yuuki changed clothes made me think that Rido will come straight to Yuuki in next chap or Yuuki will go to him(but i doubt Kaname will let that happen + Yuuki dont really know who's after her, since her parents & Kaname didnt tell her, she only knows his eyes)...^^so, yea...my theory is that the main thing in next chap will be: Rido vs Yuuki...hehe...i'd love to see that...^^

Okay, I'm a little doubtful about whether Yuuki is powerful enough to take on Rido.

If it's only going to be just 30 pages long in the next chapter...then we probably won't get a lot of story telling. I don't think anyone's going to die yet in the next chapter. Mostly, we'll be shown some fight scenes involving Cross and Yagari against the Hunters association. As the darkness dawn, we'll see the rogue vampires attacking some of the Night class student guarding the Day Class premises with Yuki helping out in the fight off against those brutes. Then we'll pan a little bit to the scene of Kaname's eventual meet up with the vampire council, maybe with Ichijou standing there confronting them as well. We'll probably see a scene or two of Rido getting ready to make his move (after whetting his bloody appetite) and then move to a couple of panels showing the appearance of a fully transformed Zero. I think by then, with all the infusion/fragmentation complete, he's finally becoming a true member of the night clan. I doubt we'll see him jumping into immediate battle though... I just don't think they will cramp too many sequence in the next chapter. We'll probably see Zero get into action in Ch 43, same with Kaname against the Elders of the VC. I can feel the manga coming to an end before the year is over...and this is just the right timing for the anime version to begin its 2nd season run in the Fall. But of course, I could be off the mark as well.

like chapter 41 isn't actually "important" to those of us that think yuuki shouldn't b with kaname. like, they didn't evn include zero in this one at all. this one was mainly about yuuki and kaname. but i do have to say that yuuki will probably end up with zero. zero is the most important character yes? i mean, vampire knight.
zero = vampire
knight = kills other vampires.
makes sense yes?

Zero still cannot distinguish his love for Yuuki is "sibling kind of love" or "lover kind of love".
He is still in his daze.

in reality zero knows already what are his feelings about yuki because, i don't remember the chapter, but he said to yagari that yuki is someone more important than a simple friend...
and yuki always in the same chapter when she saw zero after the scene of the "almost kiss" with zero yes she said that he is like a brother but then she immediatly say with a sad face "looks like that that thing was nothing to zero"

I don't know what will happen. I stopped trying to figure things out a long time ago. I just end up confusing myself more and more. I just really want to know what the other twist is going to be. I know there's more to this story.
