[Silver Fantasy]

Hey guys I just wanted to see the general reaction. Obviously there are a lot of people who feel very strongly about the two male leads, but no one really said much about their opinion on Yuuki. I'm not asking about whether you love or hate her as of now, but how you view her character in general: from the start to the present.

Personally, I think she could have had more developement. Zero and Kaname seem to be more central to the plot. I guess it's not exactly her fault since, but she could have been a little more useful...it's rather tough to pinpoint. Ah well, enough of me. Fire away!

Oh and please refrain from bashing or I shall be forced to release the hounds.

I agree that she could use more developement. If you take Yuuki as a child in the flashbacks and Yuuki in the present, her attitude hasn't changed too much. She still is in adoration to Kaname but wants to protect zero (that doesn't really have to do with her developement i guess). I believe the latest chapter though she changed a lot, being able to "disobey" Kaname. She was always strong i guess, but before she could never do anything that went against what he wanted. Maybe its forshadowing a bigger change? I feel like im back in english class lol

I was so happy to hear that yuuki was really a pureblood. Now I'm just anxious to know how the fight is going to go.

Do you think she's cool because she's a pureblood? Or is it because her personality suddenly fired up? Personally, I think it would have been nice if Yuuki had a kick ass personality the whole way...maybe I've been reading too much Bleach. hehe

i agree that she should have had it the whole time and no you didnt read to much bleach lol

Yeah. It seems so weird now because she's so serious and confident and what not. I'm not really that used to it. It would have been better if she was a strong person in the beginning., not so suddenly.

I know right!? I mean all of a sudden I don't even recognize her! She started off all kind and soft but now she's a kick ass character. It's way too sudden. In fact, I'd say her characterization is one of the weaker points of VK. Kaname and Zero are well developed though.

Yuuki's pretty slow in understanding the mechanics of societal opinion. I find her behavior a little disappointing, considering that she's already an adolescent who has the means to decide for herself. Though, it's a given that she can't remember her past and has seen a human-looking monster who ask oh-so-nicely if he can eat her, her development is still stunted like she's trapped in a vacuum. I think it's time for her to show her bad-ass attitude and order Kaname around!
