Ok...so i thought kaname lived, if not who is this guy that has kaname's body? Who is rido? Exactly when did kaname die? Their uncle he is the guy with 2 different colored eyes how is that so...that boy at the vampire party had the same thing as yuuki's and kaname's uncle, so who is he, i'm sure he died? WHO THE HECK is THE KURAN ANCESTOR???????

The Soul that took over Kanames body is the original anscestor of the Kuran. Aido is Yuuki's uncle and the one who brought kaname back from the grave. So that would make Rido, Kaname's master. I'm not sure what it was that she saw. Your guess is as good as mine. I don't think they have gotten that far yet. I'm not sure how Kaname died. All that was said is that his soul was destroyed and replaced with the original ancestors. I'm not sure so don't quote me on that one.

okay.. this is what i understand regarding that whole kaname-is-the-kuran-ancestor thing... kaname IS the kuran ancestor, so i'm sure he died long ago.. (it didn't say exactly when) that's why he's not really yuuki's real brother, as he mentioned in the end of ch 35: "I would've been happier if I was born as her real older brother." he was revived by rido (making kaname unable to kill him) mainly for the purpose of obtaining the thickest blood, which is the blood of the kuran.. i'm not sure if he just revived kaname's soul and put it into kaname's body (the body of yuuki's real brother who was taken, perhaps killed, by rido) or the kaname that we know now is the revived kuran ancestor himself, both body and soul.. and yes, rido is yuuki and kaname's uncle... the older brother of yuuki's father, kuran haruka. hmm i don't know about the child who has the same eyes as rido. maybe he's somehow related to him or something..

we don't know if kaname was the name of yuki's brother or the real name of the ancestor and personally i think it's the second one...
than i think that kanme created rido or he's maybe his father i dunno but in the chapter 38 pag 21 he says "it is my miscalculation that allowed one like you... to be born"

That kid with different eyes was Rido. Or he was possessed by Rido, like how he took over shiki's body. I think Kaname didn't die, except the ancient Kuran soul thingy took over his body or something. Like the way Shizuka took over Maria's body....

You know what, I actually felt sorry for Shizuka when Kaname killed her, HE PULLED HER HEART OUT!!!!!!!!!!
That must have hurt alot....

Maybe at the end of the story, Hino might make the "ancient Kuran soul thingy" go away and Kaname could be himself again, and maybe it was the ancient Kuran that liked Yuuki and the real Kaname just adored her as his sister....

Kaname is dead. Rather the original soul that was in Kaname's body, he was taken by Rido. You can tell because Juuri says "No, not again! Not my child!" when Rido threatened to take Yuuki to get her power. The soul with Kaname's body is the Kuran ancestor. He was revived by Rido because he wanted to ensure that the son wouldn't be able to do anything to oppose Rido. However, Rido had mistaken that the Kuran ancestor would follow him but he refused and decided to go with Juuri and Haruka as their new son. Kaname also says that " I wish I could have been born as her real brother." This shows that the real brother's soul is most likely destroyed since if they were infused together, Kaname would not have said that. The young boy with heterochromia, I'm not so sure what his character is since the manga wasn't very clear. However we can assume that he is simply another one of Rido's puppets. Rido is Kaname and Yuuki's uncle.

What is puzzling however is that Shiki's father was supposed to be the one controlling him, right? With that, is Shiki Rido's son? When Rido was still all bloody and deformed in the strange underground room he says "cute son". Making him Yuuki and Kaname's cousin? UNLESS. The little boy is Shiki's father (somehow trapped in that form? idk) and the boy is simply a servant to Rido.

Also, if the real Kaname (original soul) was in the body along with the Kuran ancestor, then Kaname would be able to kill Rido. Rido's plan was to ensure he wouldn't be killed by him, thus I'm very doubtful that the real Kaname soul is still alive. Props to the Kuran ancestor however for being able to do such harm to Rido even if he is the "master vampire."
