Characters with flaws are pretty cool. For some reason I also like the ones with troubled pasts...but any ways, I would love it if Yuuki and Zero got together. She really knows nothing about Kaname and she is very close to Zero. Perfect match.

OH! By the way if any of you haven't read Hino-san's other work you should. I think two of them are on this website...Captive Heart(aka Captive Circumstance) and MeruPuri. They are Amazing!

Definitely zero because zero and yukki have some good chemistry and they understand each other and besides they go through a lot of stuff together.

controlling isn't a flaw? actually, him being controlling is only because of Yuuki.
I'd say he actually fits the depiction of a tragic hero: grand, almost perfect, but has one great weakness that may eventually lead to his doom.
Yuuki is his weakness.

well, I choose Kaname. I prefer my manga characters not hormonally imbalanced nor bombarded with testosterone... ^_^;

i can't say i agree with u about Kaname he is controlling , yes. but it is only on the account of Yuuki. If Yuuki was never born then he wouldn't have to worry and go through all that but he loves Yuuki so much that, he planned out almost all their lives.

By the way Kaname isn't controlling, if he wanted to controll he would use his pure blood powers of mind controll, but he doesn't.

another problem people have when comparing Kaname or Zero is that they miss the fact that he is a pure blood and Zero an Ex-Human.

Their personalities differ. I Like them both wish they both can be happy

But i fell Kaname should have Yuuki, the whole reason for Yuuki being born was to be his (Kaname) wife. so that the pure blooded lineof the Kurans can continue.

The Kuran line are needed to keep the other vampires in check. If they the purebloods are gone then they will be uprising gor power.

Thats what i like about Vampire Knigt, every one has a place and they have to stay there, a noble eg. Ichiou can and might try to be the King

but because of the pure bloods the vampire world is in check.

I am all for the purety of the Vampire race.

i mean Kaname is so lonely!!! you remember when Zero drank Yuuki's blood and she came over to stop Kaname from sending him to night class, in the next chapter he was locked in his room.

then Kain told ruka that her blood can't satisfy the lonelyness of Kaname's soul.

without Yuuki Kaname would die, or worst become the monster thats inside him.

Remember vampires aren't the cute loveable pets they are fearsome creatures and imagine those fearsome creatures fear the pure bloods, that alone should tell you that nice is not in their vocabulary.

therefore understand Kaname, he can't afford to have flaws and if he has he can't show them. DUH!! he is shows as weak then Ichiou would have used him. And he needs to protect Yuuki. so he used his superior vampire mind to the fullest.

Kaname is the only one to protect Yuuki, Zero is only strong on the account of Kaname's blood.

I also don't like what some of us was saying that Kaname wasn't there fore Yuuki as Zero.

WHile Zero was there standing on his hight, Kaname knowing what was to come ( being the only one)

was behind the scene arranging his pieces so that Yuuki's blood was not Rido's food.

Rido isn't Kaname or Shizuka he won't play around with Zero's arogance.

Hence if u guys rad so well u would see that Kaname suffers the most and he diserves to be happy

From the beginning I wanted Zero for Yuki, I mean he is like the perfect guy for her, yes, he is kinda mean towards her but yuki is the only one who can support him, and Kaname he is alright (super hot too^^) but he already has power, he is a pureblood and not to mention
(spoiler- if you haven't read up to cap. 35-40 ) he is her brother ( and they are lovers!!)
intermarrying ok, that seems wrong to me ( besides the child they give birth too will have some diease - and pureblood) so I go for Zero
but he is too slow!!!

BTw zero is more handsome than kaname he has the "I'll be there to protect you" look
and kaname has the "big- brother" look^^ :heart:
