First, of all you shouldn't hate on Kaname just because he's mean to Zero.
Of course he's mean to Zero because he's jealous/mad that Zero was the first to drink Yuuki's blood and always be by her side. & She knew Kaname before she met Zero. And she can't be with Zero(i think) because now she is a pure blood and she has to marry Kaname and keep the pure blood line.

That would be too boring if Yuuki marries Kaname just bacause she is a pure blood...

With all due respect, I highly doubt that can be assumed. Not until the very last chapter will we be able to see who she choses. Yuuki is not the type of girl to marry for such a thing as bloodline. Personally, I am almost hoping for an open ending with no explicit pairing.

But I agree that Kaname shouldn't be hated just because of his treatment of Zero.

Even though I love Zero, I have to agree with this. I don't dislike Kaname or anything, but I don't like him either. However, my opinion of him is purely based on him alone, not on his relations with Zero. A lot of fans hate one or the other because they hate each other. Oh well, what's the world without bias?
