I think the story is turning out where it will be YuukiXZero. In the beginning, I would have hated the idea (because from the beginning I was all for YuukiXKaname), but I think now that this may be the logical turn of events. I mean, look at the senario. Doesn't this seem, even if just a little, like the classic "girl looks from afar (at Kaname) while never really noticing the guy she had beside her the entire time (Zero)." Don't those plots almost always end up with the main girl realizing in the end that the one she is truly closest to is the one who was always beside her? And isn't that one character most definitely Zero?

A penny for your thoughts.

Zero said Yuuki was his enemy now.
Kaname and Yuuki were destined to be together from birth.
Kaname would take better care of Yuuki.

Basically, if I were a KanaYuuki fan, personally, I would probably ignore Zero's presence in the story, but as a hardcore ZeroxYuuki fan, I don't see that happening. Sure he said they're enemies now, sure he's acting like an ass, but his love was definitely not a shallow crush. And love doesn't just "disappear" like that. He's a hunter too, so his senses are natrually disturbed when near a pureblood (instinct). He's just as messed up and confused as Yuuki, emotionally.

And for destiny. Oh...*chuckes to self*. I used to watch Yugioh for a certain character called Seto Kaiba, and even though he was an anti-hero, I thought he was the most interesting because he didn't believe in all the destiny crap the main character kept preaching about. (I was just reminded of that.) Basically, if destiny decided everything, then there would be no one guessing: KanamexYuuki or ZeroxYuuki? If destiny decided everything, we wouldn't be having debates and no one would be analyzing the plot to see which way the tides will turn. Therefore, I think that "destiny" isn't really a reliable source. *throws in two pennies*

I don't think Zero would be any less good to Yuuki. Sure Kaname is very good to her, but personally, I think Zero would protect her to death. Even Kaname, who I think is very intelligent and has extremely sharp foresight, stated that Zero would never betray Yuuki. So I highly doubt he'd see Yuuki as his enemy forever. I don't think Hino-sensei would create Zero, develope him so much and then throw him aside/let him die in the end. Plus, there's gonna be a part two of VK, so no one should really worry about if anyone's gonna die or not. What would part two be without Zero/Yuuki/Kaname?

Personally I'm a BIG KanameXYuuki fan but from the looks of the latest chapter, I have a hunch that Yuuki is gonna fall for Zero sooner or later. Its not that I'm against them but I think it would have been better if Zero got to drink Shizuka Hiou's blood. Then he woulcn't turn into a Level E and keep drinking Yuuki's blood.

I am also a KanamexYuuki fan, but I realized a long time ago that Yuuki would end up with Zero -- and I became positive when it was revealed that Kaname was her brother. This manga is not labeled as incestual, but shoujo. So it makes perfect sense for Yuuki to fall for Zero. (referring back to the first post). But I really hope it does not end up that way, not for the sake of what I'd prefer, but for the sake of cliches.

OHOHOHO I'M SORRY, WAS I IGNORING THE PRESENCE OF ZERO IN THE STORY?

yuki is the last female pure-blood, Sara Shirabuki was killed by Rido (chapter 30 page 12) (look up vampire knight characters on wikipedia if ya dont belive me), soo she need to be with kaname. Although im in like

withs Zero!

i guess Yuki can have Kaname and have Zero be the new Idol

Well well well.
this is a difficult desicion. From the start I was infatuated with the whole mysterious vampire in Kaname but then when Zero became a vampire and started drinking yuuki's blood and they had that connection I was waiting for the moment when they would realize that they like eachother. But then it did the whole background with yuuki and kaname and I saw how they had that special bond and how much he cared for her and especially when she became a vampire and we found out they were meant for eachother (

) but now the tension between her and zero is there and that's so cute ( ? )
It's kinda like wih tamaki and hikaru (host club) they both have good qualities and it would be totally cute and sweet and perfect either way.

isn't it clear that she made up her mind when she said: I will be zero's ally? besides, unlike zero, kaname has suffered the loneliness in all ten years. he is the man who is always standing in the dark and protecting her (chap 6), in this way or the other,and he is trying his best to prevent his urge for Yuuki's blood. It is regretable that yuuki may never understand about this fact.

I'am a big Kaname's fan but I think it 'll be Yuki*Zero in the end.

Not because Kaname and Yuki are "sibling" but because Zero is the character who is always with Yuki. And Yuki is in charge of him since he lives with her. The bond between them is stronger than the bond kaname*yuki.
