Or even if he just told her how he felt by saying that he loved her enough that he was willing to let her go. As the old saying goes and I think Kaname understands it better

I totally agree with you.. I am a Kaname x Yuuki fan too. In my opinion, Kaname deserves Yuuki more, for all the sacrifices he had done for her (I mean, 10 years of protecting and waiting for Yuuki to "awaken" and remembers him again).. Some people say Yuuki and Kaname's relationship will be weird due to the fact that they are siblings? Well, I thought in one of the volume Kaname revealed that he wasn't the 'real' brother of Yuuki (he told Zero that he would be happier if he was her real brother). Kaname always look so sad, and his attitudes can be understood considering what he had been thru since childhood. He had to act like that so that he won't be taken advantages of by other vampires (especially the 'council' members). As far as Zero.. I like him as well, but it's a fact that he hated vampires (especially the purebloods). I guess he will have to get over that at one point if he really want Yuuki. Anyway, it will be interesting to see what's coming next.

I'm glad to see that so many people get what I'm trying to say. It's also nice to see so many different views on the storyline.

Regarding the whole "KanamexYuuki -- eww incest..."
Personally, I think that it makes the manga even more interesting. It provokes philosophical conversation -- what we regard as taboo is accepted in another society. But when people say that's just gross, I don't get why people like pairings like ItaSasu. They're siblings too, but no one cares.
Interesting points have been made, too. The fact that Zero is always keeping Yuuki at arms length after he found out what she truly is makes kind of angry. If he really likes, or loves, her he would accept her as she is. That's what love is, looking past the flaws that make us who we are.
Also, he doesn't really have to get over his self-hatred. That's a part of his character. I wouldn't believe my bleeding eyes if I suddenly saw Zero prancing around, chasing butterflies and farting rainbows while professing his undying love for Yuuki and chocolate cake.
My faith in KanamexYuuki is strong.
But I think it's going to end tragically. :(

But anyways, I guess he doesn't have to get rid of his self-hatred. But I have faith that he'll get over his so-called hatred for Yuuki. And I never started hating the KanaxYuuki pairing after I found out they were related. My opinion stayed about the same, I was just surprised that Hino threw us a curve ball.

their kissing scene in chp 42 could make kanayuki relationship become better
but also it's a sign that finally I can see kaname someday could "grow up" to let yuuki go for her happiness more important

Yeah I kind of agree but in the case of Yuki it gets complicated. I mean she DID say she'd come back int Kaname's arms...however she wants to protect Zero and she also wants to be there for him. Like someone he can confide in. This explains the blood donations Yuki gave Zero. There was a twist with Yuki actually being a vampire but I think that eventually Zero we'll make an exception for Yuki. For the most part if Zero would not be so uptight... there would have been sparks flying already. And the Yuki Kaname thing has to deal with mostly with respect and admiration that Yuki feels really. The only reason Yuki is more open to Kaname is because of her old memories flooding back...

Personally, I have nothing against Kaname, it's just that i think zero is sweet and all :3 They would both be good to Yuuki so I don't really mind who she ends up with (though if she doesn't end up with anyone that would kinda suck..) However, I'm more Zero than Kaname, but not that much =D

finally!!! a thread with both kana&zero fans, and with intelligent conversation to boot! it's kinda refreshing after going through volumes of threads with either "kaname sucks" or "zero sucks" on them.

i've always supported the kanamexyuuki pairing - it gives me more of that shojo-romance feeling than the zeroxyuuki moments. and yeah, i don't mind the "incest" thing - if there's even such a thing in the vampire society. also, there's a lot more facts that had yet to be explained fully in the manga, and the true relationship between the kuran siblings is one of them.

i think everyone's right in saying that it's a bit too early to predict in whose arms yuuki will finally end up. besides, this is hino-sensei's work we're talking about, and she always has impressive twists that catches everybody off-guard.

i mean, what if she does decide on a kanazero pairing! now that would totally get everyone off the hook!!!

Woah, cool down! one of the purposes of these threads is so people can write down their opinions, Manga fox has a lot of people, there are a lot of speculations, which i enjoy reading. Of course you get repeats and cliches and stuff, and it's true we do go WAY to far into finding the meaning of stuff and the possibilities of character relationships, but so what? If you don't like it, then don't read the threats that go into that stuff!
