i thought so at first, but i'm coming around to the idea.
i suppose incest wouldn't be such a huge thing with vampires, simply because it wouldn't cause the defects it does with human.
it is definately strange, but not entirely off putting.

The sister/brother/lover relationship doesn't really bother me. I mean, they're so different! they don't really look like each other and they have lived separate for quite a while. What creeps me out is how Kaname uses everyone at cross academy for his own ends. Like chess pieces. CREEPY!!

Kaname also has described himself as the Queen Bee, manipulating things from the centre and behind the scenes. That bothers me a great deal too; I'd wanted to like him for being the kind and perhaps somewhat aloof boy Yuuki loves, but he's really not. :o/

As for the thread: The sibling relationship doesn't bother me really, but I've been reading manga long time, and incest is common - if it is qualified somehow (i.e. step siblings, siblings from the same father but different mothers, etc). They qualified it in this manga by making Yuuki live apart as a human for years. So, I'm over the whole full-blood sibling thing (although it only bothered me a little at first). The mangaka set it up though that we would have become accustomed to Yuuki loving Kaname way before we found out they were siblings.

All of the Zero Yuuki shippers should be discussing on this thread. I don't follow the couple, and that's not really what this thread is about.

i totally agree with this. When i first found out Kaname and Yuuki were siblings, i felt kinda weird about it, but after a while, knowing they're just step-siblings, i got over the fact that their relationship might be a little weird. I think the reason pure-bloods can intermarry and love their own siblings is because there's so little of them left. There's sometimes no choice but to marry the members of you own family. So they have to intermarry so the pure-blood vampires won't extinct, i think. Because the story does say that there aren't a lot of pure-bloods left and they all have to stick together, right? I mean, Kaname and Yuuki's parents were siblings too, and they married, so what's so wrong with that??

yeah...i don't really care if Yuuki and Kaname become a couple, i mean, they've lived their lives, with Yuuki not knowing anything about her past.....but i am pissed off at Zero for pointing Bloody Rose at her. i mean, COME ON!!! He's being a total HYPOCRITE!!! i mean, he BITES Yuuki, and what does she do??? she like, "oh zero, here eat me, i'm like an all you can buffet," and the points his fricking GUN ay her!!!! God, its not her fault that she's a vampire!!!!!!!!!!!

i totally understand how you feel. i was really mad when Zero pointed the Bloody Rose at Yuuki, i mean, she offered her blood for him everytime he felt the urge to drink blood and she supported and stayed by his side when he was going through pain. She even argued with Kaname over the incident where a vampire has bitten a girl from the day class. I thought it was really cruel of Zero to forget all of that and hate her for being a pure-blood vampire.

well i am a KanaYuki fan but i still think its kinda creepy, i never thought
that they were sibblings, at first i thought that maybe yuki was a pure blood
and kaname was her servant..(just my imagination)LOL that's why she was important..but sibblings? duh.

lol but i'm starting to accept it,because i love KANAYUKI
