Ok..... so what did Kaname mean about him being a Kuran ancestor..? Rido is his master....?

Somebody help me before I jump off my roof......(well, there is no cliff near.... maybe a 2 hour drive, but I am lazy to steal my bro's car and drive for 2 hours straight at 11 o'clock at night... so please help me!)

Well, there's no clear answer yet, but my theory is that it means Kaname is an early Kuran, perhaps even the first.
-He mentioned being revived/resurrected.
-It would explain why he was accepted into the Kuran family yet not being Yuuki's real brother.
-It would also explain why Kaname's powers are strong, even for a pureblood.

The translation is unclear, perhaps instead of "thickest" they mean "purest?" And as the Kurans breed, perhaps with other purebloods, the Kuran blood becomes diluted, the ancestor would have the purest blood.

That's just what I'm thinking. Seriously by the sounds of things, Kaname has to have been dead and Rido resurrected him. Because Rido is a power driven freak, Kaname would have had to have been pretty powerfull or important in the past for Rido to want him. Also that explains why Kaname isn't really Yuki's real brother......Sucks nuts man!

Would have totally been better if they were real brother and sister but.....ohwell, it's still sexy!

How about reincarnation? Kaname is actually the reincarnation of the first Kuran whom Rido resurrected.

Maybe Kaname was resurrected using with the first child of Haruka and Juri and that's why they treated him as their son? Like Rido put kaname's soul in the first child and so he became their child or Rido sacrificed Haruka and Juri child's blood to resurrect Kaname. I hope what i wrote makes sense.

Kaname body is that of Haruka and Juri. There son died ...some how....Rido?? any how Rido put the soul of Kuran ancestor in the body that was left. Kaname as we know him now.
We've seen it time and again in vk. First with Shizuka and now with Rido.There soul or essence taking over another vamps body.
So I reject the reincarnation theory. but one of the body thief. The whole not born as Yuki real brother question. The body is that of the brother not the soul inside it.

Since Rido but the soul there Kaname calls him master and is unable to kill him. Much like a human regards the vamp that made them.
PS his body is still the brother it still INCEST!!! Zero&yuki forever.

i think yuki's real brother did not just die..remember juuri said that 'you! my child again?!' or something like that..the real brother was probably abducted by rido as a sacrifice to bring forth the ancestor of kuran..thus, kaname is alive..
