Well, I've been reading the manga and watching the anime and i still can't figure out what is Kaname's power.. Anyone knows? Well power for example Idol(Aidou)-senpai had the power to create Ice and Kain the fire thing..So what's Kaname's true power?

I don't know either. But I've seen him destroy the ground Don't know what power that is thought...

Kaname seems to have the power to manipulate hard matter to create a dragon and munch up his enemies. It appeared similar to the power Kuran Haruka had, although he could crush vampires and transform them into his dragon - and it was attached to his arm.

I imagine Kaname's power has not fully matured since his body is still young, and that he'll acquire greater power as his body ages. He already has more power from sucking Shisuka's blood, and was able to form quite a large dragon when he attacked Rido in Shiki's body. I can't remember if he used that power before then.

Kaname also has the power to cut things, like Yuuki does (although I don't think to that extent). If you remember when he saw Toga in the garden, and Toga was mocking him, he sliced Toga's cigarette and cheek a little.

I think that's all the power we've seen, although my memory isn't so great.

Ah, good one; I'd forgotten that!

So, the Kuran family all have the power to tear things.

I wonder if Yuuki also has the power to create the dragon creatures or if that is just something the men have the ability to do.

I know Yuuki has to have some other secret power that hasn't been revealed yet, since she is so special.

We've already seen some of the secret power of the women in that Juuri was able to seal Yuuki as a human. Although, that ended up killing her so I don't think Yuuki should use that power.

kaname's a pureblood, so there's a chance that what has been shown in the manga is just a fraction of what he is capable of.
I forgot who mentioned this but purebloods are at the top of the "food chain" and they have the ability to make other non-pure blooded vampire to obey their every command.

It was Ichijo at his birthday party explaining the classification of vampires to Yuuki who said that.

I'm certain that Kaname has not yet shown the full extent of his power, since not only is he a pureblood, and his body a Kuran, but he is also the Kuran ancestor with all of the pure power of an early generation. I'm excited to see what he'll display in the upcoming battle.

You're correct about the mind control too. I'm not sure, but Yuuki may have displayed a bit of it when she was first awakened: Do you remember when she was leaving the Night Class dorm and Aido tried to stop her? She said, something like, "I'm going out anyway" and then he clutched his head. I don't know if that was him simply being frustrated or if she had lashed out against his mind to make him back off. I suspect the former.

We've all forgotten the totally obvious: Kaname and Yuuki have the power to turn anyone they bite into a vampire, and become the master of that person.

When we saw kaname kuran control those vampires, and made them rip there own heads off, I was really shocked, I mean that was power. I also think that as kaname grows his power will, his father and mother were probably stronger then him, so it will be exciting to see how he gets stronger as a pureblood, same with yuki too.

well let me say his powers consits of the WIND element just like aidou has ice,kain has fire,rima thunder shiki no element lol well ruka don't know shizuka has plant . well if you notice kaname has many types but if you all notice wind that destory but healing can be determinated as wind element in anime and manga too plus the dragon can be created as a strong wind and other things SO YEA KANAME USES THE WIND POWERS ELEMENT
