Is it getting a litle confusing,or am I the only to think so?? I mean I realy like it, but as it is moving on....

yeah it is kinda. I was confused about is the head of the Hunters society (the lady) is in cahoots with rido then? And i wonder what it is that headmaster cross says he has to do.

I still think its one of the best mangas though!! Its just getting kinda involved and I wonder if that means its not going ot last too much longer?

@Peggypap:well... i can't really say the story is getting more confusing, you just kinda have to re-read most of the parts to get a better understanding of the text. and sometimes, the translations are not so clear so u also have to try and interpret the meanings yourself. Basically, for me, i don't exactly think the story is getting confusing, it's just we don't know enough info to understand what's going on and what is going to happen next. The only thing we CAN do right now is guess and discuss among ourselves to try and figure out an answer to our questions and wondering.

@lady_kiyo1024: we don't know for sure if the lady of the hunter society is in cahoots with Rido or not, but it is very likely judging on the fact that she is in contact with Ichijo's grandfather, who is in a cahoot with Rido, a lot and we can't ignore the fact that she was the one that sent the ppl to lock up Zero... i hate her for that! As for headmaster Cross, i think he's definitely gonna fight, not just for himself, but for the entire academy and for the co-existence of vampires and humans in the future... at least, that's my thinking on this one... but, like i said before, we don't know enough to fully guess what's gonna happen and who's with who.

I am kinda confused. these are the things that i understand. 1. Yuuki is a vampire. 2. Kaname does not possess his own soul, but the soul of his ancestor. 3. Zero just got shot by his own brother. 4. Zero has to save yuuki while before rido gets to her. 5. This manga is not going to have a satifiable ending for everyone.

that head of hunter's society also appears to be a guy in the anime, the character imo has a guy's voice o-O...

I have a feeling that Kaname is possesed by his dad as a curse from Rido. Kaname mentions to Zero that it would be better if I were her real older brother. Kaname also mentions that he came back from the grave thanks to Rido, implying that he has died once already. The only ones we know that died are Kaname and Yukki's parents. And I also have a feeling that Kaname has a older brother and that brother is the hunter that comes looking for Zero, because they look alot alike and there is mention of twins and implication that only the older twin will survive, because it will feed off the other twin(implying possible vampire twins).Not only does Zero have a twin , but Kaname as well. If Kaname is possesed by his dad, that would explain his fatherly affection towards Yuki and his desire to break way from Rido's curse. Kaname really is alone battling himself.

Perhaps maybe, the Hunters and Vampires (at least the heads of these organizations.) may have some secret agreement to this matter about Rido.

But I have a million dollar question: Is the Hunter Lady even a lady?? I mean I heard the voice of that person..and..oh man. It made me doubt my sense of hearing!! She sounded like a man! Can anyone back-up my speculation that what we thought was a lady was not really a lady all along??

Kaname is possessed by an ancestor but I don't think it's his father...that would be really creepy considering his not so father-like behavior towards Yuuki (i.e. licking her, kissing her, biting her, being her fiance).

Also, regarding "the Hunter Lady," maybe the anime changed the character into a man? That was most definitely the voice of a man and I was wondering about it the whole time. Or, indeed, the whole time the character who I also thought was a woman is a man

yeah he or she is! A crossdresser like Chairman Cross, hmm Hunter's seems to have the affinity to dress differently..
