I think that Sakura and Shaoran from CCS are different characters (read what yuuko said at ch. 3, vol.1), but are surely the same of TRC... Instead i believe that Clow Reed is the same character in CCS, TRC and holic!

As well as Tsubasa and Card Captor Sakura,

Card Captor Sakura is the same Sakura from Tsubasa, and Tsubasa's plostline runs along xxxHolic's plotline.

A large part of TRC and XXXHolic consists of recycling characters. If you read TRC, you will realize that Sakura and Syoaran (if i spelled it wrong, I'm sorry!) are not the same ones from CCS, but are the same ones as the ones in XXXHolic.

In TRC and XXXHolic and CCS...it's basically what CLAMP tells us in TRC, that they may meet the same people in all different dimensions, and those people have the same soul as their other selves, but they have developed under different circumstances. The TRC and XXXH Sakura and Syaoran look like older counterparts of their CCS versions, and in a sense they are, but they are from different dimensions. In XXXH, there's a part after Watanuki has met the TRC Syao/Saku where Watanuki picks up a staff in Yuko's store (some CLAMP readers may recognize it as Sakura's staff in CCS), and when Watanuki inquires about it, Yuko tells him that it belongs to the Sakura in "this" world (meaning Watanuki's demension)

So really, the XXXH and TRC Syao/Saku share the same souls as the CCS versions, but they are different persons, if that makes any sense.
